I have a small tribal flower on my back. My bestie's dad did it many many years ago. I've always wanted more or at least get this one recoloured. Sadly, my bestie's dad passed away in 2009 from cancer, so I will never get it touched now - I will leave his art as is I am going to get his signature tattooed under it tho. He was an amazing artist on skin and paper

I have 6 so far - a horse head on my stomach, a shooting star on the outside of my ankle, a small tiger outline on the inside of my ankle, a tribal armband (it's the tat Faith has on Buffy), Sanskrit writing on the inside of my left wrist which says ahimsa, which means non-violence to all living things (it's my vegetarian tat) and my paw prints going up the inside of my left arm.

The paw prints are an on-going tat. The pic is after the first two. I've had a third added since and am getting two more towards the end of the month. Each one is for one of the cats we've lost (we've lost 5 in the past 14 months). Each one has some of the ashes of one of the cats mixed in. The one in the pic has Rye's ashes mixed into the one on the left, and Artemis on the right. I've since had one done for our cat Tonks, and am getting two more done for Snuffleupagus and Crackerjack (who just died last Thursday  ). Snuffy actually died last July, but it took a while to find an artist willing to mix the ashes in. Yeah, it's a bit creepy, but they will literally be with me always now

I don't have tattoos and I really don't want any. I admire the artwork that goes into them. But, I can think of one thing that I want stuck on me forever. I am more into piercing. If I change my mind I have the option to take it out.

lovesbabysquirmy: I have crazy metal allergies. Which is rather difficult to explain to people with all of the piercings and ink that I have. (I also like to say I'm afraid of needles. )

As to the it's hard to pick something I think I'll always like. I don't really approach tattoos that way. I try to get something I like visually yes but I focus on personal meanings. That way if my opinions or situation change the tattoo will still always be representative of that time in my life or that belief I once had. Does that make sense?

I don't have one but wish I was brave enough to get one. I have a needle phobia. Even getting something small scares me. I'd like a small dolphin somewhere. I am afraid I won't be able to take the pain.
