Series one standard set was(is) sold at a bunch of different retailers, including Target and Barnes & Noble, where they were about $6 each. There were 12 in a box, two of which were glow in the dark.

Hot Topic had a unit with 24 boxes, but no glow in the dark ponies. Instead they have five Hot Topic exclusive ponies that were the ponys' normal body colors instead of black bodies. They were $7.50 each, but are now priced at $8.50 each. This $1 increase stinks, but considering they are constantly running a "buy one get one 50% off" deal, this makes every other pony $4.25, or an average of $6.38 each (before taxes). It was a better deal when they were only $7.50, as the average BOGO price brought them down to $5.38 each...

To bad Hot Topic gets an exclusive thing cause I refuse to buy them there due to being over priced. My HT had them at $8.99 to begin with so if they went up again they will be $9.99, but they are $6.99 at my Target.

The Hot Topic exclusive Series 1s didn't have the glow ones? I wouldn't be surprised if the full color ones are replaced by the exclusive ones then.
