Ordered mine. I really don't want the sparkle figures but i AM interested if these are blind boxed packed this time around!

I don't think they will be blind boxed. I've collected funkos other lines of toys/collectibles for years. One of the lines I collect is the pop figures. So in a master case (36) of say Wonder Woman 35 will be the regular Wonder Woman figure but 1 will be a chase  in the case of Wonder Woman the chase has metallic paint. But for some of the other figures might have blood splatter (horror line), glow in the dark or in the case of the MLP be 'glittery'. In all cases they are in regular boxes but the 'chase' figures have a small sticker on the window. Here are a few pics (wonder woman's chase is pretty subtle but here is pics of flash) regular

Not all lines and series have 'chase' figures.

I just ordered 2 Fluttershy's. With my hot cash it turned out to be a pretty sweet deal for about $10 a pop!
Eta: Oh, I didn't realize that the transparent ones were just chase figs. I'm glad to hear it though because I want the regular Fluttershy much more.

It says 1 in 24 will receive the sparkly so there's no way to choose, but I hope I get the non-sparkly version.

Noooo!  Chase figures, really?! That's disappointing.  Maybe I need to re-evaluate how I collect these. I really do want all of them but I don't want to kill the fun by stressing over seeking the variants out either.    I'm not even sure I want to pre-order these now. Maybe I will just wait to see what I can find in stores because if I only get 2 I want regular Fluttershy and regular Dr. Whooves with the green tie (because that is what color his tie is when he wears one in "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000"). I do have some consolation in knowing that the MLP Funko figures will no longer be exclusive to Hot Topic come spring so maybe they won't be impossible to find but  this news is frustrating. How much do I really want those darn glittery ones? Probably... a lot.

I just ordered several of each. Dang-it I just can't seem to stop "pony gambling" ;  The promo code made it such a good deal though   It's not likely that I'll get the clear ones, but I can hope, heh.

Its disappointing to hear that you can't pick which figure you will get. I really want the sparkle versions of both of them. Oh well. I ended up ordering 2 of each to increase my chances. I'd be happy to trade a normal one for the glitter version if someone gets one they don't want. I used this promo code for $30 off an order of $60 or more $30 off $60: BH2WB7V3. They came to 10 something each after shipping. That's not too bad.

I'm actually very quickly falling out of love with these figures. Maybe when they finally actually hit stores in Australia (crosses fingers) and I see them in person it'll be different.
I think they really missed a chance to be creative with unique poses for every pony, using the same basic body shape is what we've already got from Hasbro. I would have gladly payed extra for ponies with unique poses that expressed their character! But maybe if you buy the entire set and have them standing together they will look like an impressive army just like any Funko. *shrug* I just with them down under now, stupid Hot Topic.

@Pinkamena - unfortunately at the moment its shipping from the US Hot Topic only - I am sure if you post over in TS you ll find someone to help you out however. Thankfully the exclusivity deal that HT had expires soon so this makes it more likely HT can start selling the product to other retailers. Many comic book shops and specialist outlets like Forbidden Planet carry Funko so if they make it here thats the best bet.

I have come across Chasers before as a collector and I know its something Funko with their big collectors focus like to do, but I ll admit I had hoped it wouldnt be something we would see with MLP. Guess we know what items will be hitting crazy prices on ebay next month.

Just bought my two with my hot cash:D Not bad about $12 each after shipping. I'm really hoping for the clear ones but I'll just be happy with what I get. I do like that they tell you the street date though because HT is really good about having the stuff on the shelves so I'll at least go out and look when they come out if I don't. I'm just so happy to have some new figures!
