Rose has been in the making for a little while now.

she was started the same time as my first Kimono pony which I think was aprox over a year ago!

she has a fully sculpted kimono dress with sculpted roses and leaves on her head and around her hair.

I re-rooted her in 2 shades of silver and placed her hair up into two cute buns and added an oriental head piece.

her eyes have been re-painted in shades of green and varnished.

her dress is painted in black and metallic black and pink with pink blossoms and crystals.

She is cute, Pop. Do you make your hair ornaments by hand, or are they repurposed earrings or anything?

Do you use colored clay, or just paint it? And if you paint it, do you have any tricks to share for such clean colors at the hems where they touch the pony? I tend to make a mess of the pony, then have to use acetone to try and wipe up the mess, and try to paint the hem line cleaner the second time without getting it on the pony.
