>> So how is everyone today? Just posting the standard introduction, really. So I found this site a while ago and really had no idea how awesome it was right up until this week. I've been lurking around a few helpful topics but figured I may as well sign up with the site. x3 Though we're here for pretty much the same major reason I suppose I could elaborate a bit. I've loved My Little Pony since I was a kid but I was never a serious collector up until a few years ago. I'd find a few at a yard sale or whatnot but that was pretty much it. I'm sure you've seen this trend quite a bit, but, I will admit that it was G4 that really rekindled my love for the franchise. Collection-wise I don't have too terribly many and I'm open to collecting any generation though G1 and G3 are my favorites. A good chunk of my collection is made up of G3 and G4, though. I wish I had more G1s as they are my favorite design-wise. Uhm... what else... one day I hope to be a customizer, but, I've recently been interested in the restoration aspect instead of just tearing up perfectly good ponies for some failed project. >>; I'll stick to practicing on KOs and Fakies.

Currently I'm in my early 20's and I don't have much of a life to be honest. However I'm trying to change that by investing myself more in creative hobbies. I just don't know how to do much of anything just yet. >>; Lots and lots more practice and familiarizing myself with mediums before I'm ready to show off anything. At best, I can draw little cartoons but that's about it at the moment. And that's pretty much it, I think.

Hi!

Starting customizing with KO's and fakies is a smart move,  that way you'll get used to the feel of the paints and brushes you use and of course the feel of a 3D plastic object. I look forward to seeing your creations!

kiwimlp- I did indeed draw the pony in my avatar, to. Ponies are pretty fun to doodle but the only style that I can manage at the moment is G4-ish... I need to work on the other generations well.

:3 Thank you! And an art thread isn't a bad idea. I've just need to find some that are presentable. Almost everything I've drawn is noting more than rough, messy sketches.

Welcome to the Arena! I think its great to have a collection which covers so many generations G1s are my fav as well but I do love G3 and G4 too. Sounds like you will enjoy it here - lots of pony things to talk about!
