Wanted! / Rose Petal Place Plush Pitter Pat for my birthday! 😻
« on: August 18, 2018, 09:14:57 PM »
I've been looking for her for years and whenever I do an online search it seems I've just missed her for sale on ebay. 😭😭 If you have her for sale please let me know. It'd be a dream come true to finally own my grail plush. :lovey:  She doesn't have to have her box but that's a definite plus! My bday is in October so I hope this is a good amount of time to cast a line out there and eventually reel her in! Thank you for reading this!  :glitter:   :glitter:

Pony Corral / PC: HTF MIB G4s Is this a fair offer?
« on: October 12, 2017, 10:34:49 AM »
I have some rare earlier G4s that are pretty hard to find and sought after apparently and since I don't really collect G4 I was wondering if this is a fair price for them? I have them listed for $200 for the set on eBay. Is this too much or too little?

- Snow Catcher w/ pet

- Lily Blossom w/ pet

- Feathermay w/ pet

- Flitterheart w/ pet

- Cherry Pie w/ pet + DVD

I priced accordingly bc I noticed a MIB Flitterheart listed for $75 on her own! :whoa:

I also have a best offer option and have received the following offers: $50, $100, $140, $150, $155, $168. Which is closest to a fair price? I don't want to be under sold but i also don't want to charge too much.

Apparently Hasbro just re released the toys from March that were given away before in Europe and slapped 'MLP: the Movie' packaging on them.   A little disappointing since they could've had a great promotion if the figures were actually movie related. I know it's not the first time Hasbro has recycled the same designs but the packages are even marked 2016! Considering how difficult it's been for most to find the movie concessions souvenirs it would've been really cool if the happy meal toys were related to the film. This set is a combination of costume masks and ponies and the masks are even older from January 2016! Still bought them though, because, ponies! :silly:

Pony Corral / G4 Pony Plushies found in Dave & Busters game!!! :o
« on: September 27, 2016, 08:26:25 PM »
I thought that I'd lost all chance of getting the other Toy Factory plushies besides Fluttershy (the only one I managed to win) after my State Fair packed up and went away. However, tonight while I was nosing around D & B look who I found chilling out in the TRAP DOOR game machine! :frolic:  Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy! They made Applejack and Rainbow Dash, too I got them also from the fair (bc my mom bribed the carnies to sell them to her LOL) but I don't think they made a Rarity. Anyways, even though two are kinda buried at the bottom and might not be selected as prizes any time soon, Pinkie no doubt will be chosen first.  I'm glad there are some of these plushies still floating around out in the universe. I hope I can get one if I'm lucky hehe :silly:

Pony Brag Arena / Glamour Glow Rarity Goodwill Find!!!
« on: September 26, 2016, 11:24:46 AM »
Haven't had much luck in the pony department at any goodwills recently and I still think it's because I used up all my pony luck for the year finding that SS Crumpet back in Jan. :silly:

On a whim, I decided to ride my bicycle to the closest Goodwill nearby me and look who was waiting for me!

She still works! And for this price.... not too shabby if you ask me. :bigups:

It's seems so random to me that they priced her so low considering this location usually puts very high prices on the "good" toys. :P Usually .99 cents for the regular sized ponies and 2.99-5.99 for pony plush or playsets. This was definitely a lucky find for me and I'll take it since I didn't have her yet! Funny thing was I had just seen her at TRU but couldn't justify spending what they wanting for her hehe :drunk:

Pony Brag Arena / The most amazing RAOPK ever. Unbelievable!!! :O
« on: September 03, 2016, 05:59:15 PM »

As some of you might know, I've fallen on some hard times financially and posted a few sales mentioning having to sell off some of my collection to pay for bills, getting my car fixed, basic living expenses etc. One of my most treasured ponies, Tux, has been up for sale on eBay for months and months at a very high price because I didn't really want to let him go. I had a couple low offers of $50 and $60 but declined as I figured he was worth much more than that especially with the sentimental value I had for him. Finally, today I received an offer of $125 which was more than my $100 BIN price. :whoa:   Immediately, I messaged the buyer to make sure this offer was not in error and she assured me that it wasn't a mistake that "he was worth it."  After I accepted the offer, I said I hoped he'd be happy in his new pony home and hoped he would bring her all the joy and happiness he has given me through out the years.

And I received this in reply.....

You're not going to believe this . . but Mr. Tux just called me on the phone. I don't know how he dialed with those stiff plastic legs! Anyway, he told me you are a little down on your luck right now, but you'll be back on your feet soon. He said he is so happy I bought him so you could have a bit of money, but then he began to cry. I could tell he was very, very sad and heartbroken to be leaving you. I asked him if he wanted to stay with you, and he perked right up. So he is yours to keep.

God bless and take care. Best of luck to you!

Now, I've heard of things like this happening to other members of the pony community but it's never once happened to me and it couldn't have happened at a more fitting time. I feel very blessed and honored to have been given such a gift and now Tux will be staying with me forever.  :lovey:  Money really is fleeting but a pony's love is forever.  :newpony:

.... and yes, I tried to the best of my ability but I didn't have much luck playing this particular game (BOWLER ROLLER and it is EVIL, EVIL, EVIL!!!) :yikes:   I had to take a pic of the GIANT Rainbow Dash chilling out in the back of the prize display. It was WAY bigger than the smaller ponies off to the right. They also had much smaller ponies hanging on chains near the front of the game display, too.

I'm totally going back before the fair is over (it's running until the 21st, I've got time!!) to try my luck at winning a Fluttershy. I'd dearly love to have that humongous RD but I'd be happy with the Fluttershy since she is my favorite. :lovey:

LOOK how cute she is ERMAGERD. :whoa:
SHE SHALL BE MINE. OH, YES. SHE SHALL BE MINE!!! :devious:

Pony Brag Arena / EXCITING GW 0utlet G1 Find!!! ~*Dream Castle*~ :D
« on: July 28, 2016, 07:39:07 PM »

Haven't had much luck in the hunting department lately and it was getting very discouraging. :cloud:  Until today when I made an impromptu visit to the Goodwill 0utlet and made this surprising discovery!!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

The Dream Castle I have currently is ALS0 a GW 0utlet find although I discovered it in another location. However, that one was missing all the blue castle turrets and I had to spend a small fortune buying them from eBay. :silly:  It's missing the back castle piece just like my first one.

Then in the next bin over I find THIS!  :wow:   :faint:

This was pretty exciting because I found only the main castle piece the first time around. It was amazingly unheard of to me to find more than one castle piece AND the blue turrets that always seem to be missing!!  :bigups: They are missing their stickers but that's ok. :drunk:  Still better than nothing! :P

Pony Corral / L@@K what plushies I spied from TRU today!!!
« on: July 25, 2016, 08:34:22 PM »

I haven't seen the Princess ponies in at least a few years so this was a very nice surprise to find today while making a Toys R Us visit. Especially finding LUNA!!!! :lovey: I'm definitely getting her when funds are available. I've wanted a Luna plushie awhile and the only version I have is the light purple Aurora one. This plushie is much better IMH0. I think she looks awesome!!! :bigups:

I've put this off for as long as I possibly could even trying to sell other items on ebay besides my precious treasured ponies but there's not getting past it --- I'm not making it financially since I left my "outside" job and eBay isn't paying the bills anymore either. The transmission in my car went kaput and I've had to hoof it everywhere since I can't afford to fix it right now. :cloud: My last resort is to make a plea to my pony friends and hope you can give some of my babies good and loving homes. I feel much better listing on the Arena than eBay because I KNOW they will go to amazing new pony owners and not greedy resellers only out to make a profit. :yikes:

I'll add pics later as I'm using my apartment complex's computer lab because my keyboard at home won't type the letter 'o' and as it turns out, that's a pretty important letter when you're typing. :drunk:

For Sale I have to offer:

Mail Orders

Tux n' Tails
L'il Cupcake

 Rares

TE Mimic
SS Crumpet
TAF Night Glider
Baby Princess Sparkle w/ Princess Buggy
(missing some accessories; mostly complete)

Flutter Pink Dreams
Flutter Hollywood

Baby Lucky Leaf

TAF Yum Yum w/ PINK hair (unfaded)
TAF MUNCHY near mint

Romance pony "Love Token"

Cookery Pony "Vanilla Treat"

I also have many older G3s still MIB just ask for the specific pony you are looking for and I'll consult my inventory to see if I have it. I have some MIB G4s also but those are much more limited.

Thanks so much for reading my sales post and I'll update it with pictures soon. :lovey:

 Hugs to every pony!!

I've always regretted selling mine that I got BIN for such a good price 5+ years ago namely bc I figured I'd NEVER be able to replace her cheaply with the bidding wars and ostentatious pricing some sellers come up with these days. :yikes:   I did sell her to an Arena member (found that out after the fact! ) so that made it easier to part with her since I knew she was going to a good home and not a greedy ebay reseller. For the past four or five years I've been stalking eBay for another that didn't cost like $200 (there was one even for $252 BIN once! ) and no luck since she's not a pony that comes up for auction very often. But a few days ago I spied one that only a little bit of time left and she was only up to $26!!!!  :whoa:

Of course, I knew there was NO way she'd end at that extremely low price for such a rare mail order baby so I watched it and pretty much forgot about it until late last night. I checked in on her and she'd only gone up to $34 so I put in a bid. The last L'il Cupcake I scored from eBay I did a buy now for $50 which I didn't think was asking too much considering her rarity. So I put in $50.07. :silly:   I was outbid within a few hours. So I put in a REALLY HIGH bid -- you know the kind where you HOPE against the odds it won't go up that high but it *should* secure you the win? And went to bed.

This morning I'd almost forgot that the listing was ending today so I checked in with only 59 min left to go and it'd only gone up to $53 which was still relatively reasonable to me. Then comes the most nerve wracking, nail biting, tense moments of any listing ending. Waiting that last half hour, then last 15 min then last 5 min... then last minute waiting for someone to snipe you in the last few seconds. I was certain she'd sky rocket in the last minute and watched like a hawk until the timer ran out to zero. BUT NOPE!!! I'd staked my claim and won my prize AND only $3 more than my initial bid so I was very :frolic: !!!

I know this is a long winded brag and I don't technically have her in my 'hooves' yet but I was too excited to share as this has been a long awaited homecoming for this sweet little girl. She's never leaving my herd again!! Money is fleeting but ponies are FOREVER!!! :lovey:

Here's the ended listing btw and she looks to be in fab shape I'm sure she will be gorg once she'd had a trip to the pony spa!!

Pony Corral / Ponies And Candy!!!
« on: May 11, 2016, 08:41:11 PM »

I received quite the surprise today while strolling through the mall and spied this display in a high end candy store. It's called Inside Scoop and it's pretty pricey but the novelties are so precious!! :lovey:

These displays were not here a few weeks ago and I knew I had to document it for the Arena!

This is the first time that I've seen a Starlight Glimmer plushie!! :whoa:

It appears there are two versions of Shining Armor. He looks like a mini version of the BAB one.

I really wish I could've got a better collaborative pic of the entire aisle of candy with all the ponies atop! It was truly quite the sight to see. What could be better than candy and ponies??!

:frolic:

They're all so expensive, however.  :yikes: The smallest from $17.99 to largest $120!!!! :drunk:

i really want to go back for SG... she was $19.99 and SA was $24.99. I feel that's too much for these Aurora plush but I know they were always more pricey. If I'm spending $25 on a pony plush, I might as well just get a BAB one lol :silly:

Pony Brag Arena / Look who I got today! My first posable pony!
« on: April 22, 2016, 04:16:24 PM »

I know these have been out for awhile but I've never felt the urge to own any until I finally found a lone Fluttershy @ Meijer today!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

They only had Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle and one Miss Pommel in the regular section but hidden behind some other toys I found this Fluttershy peeking from behind the back so I just had to get her!

I've never owned any of the posables before but she is super cute and I just adore her.  :lovey:

Price Check Archives / PC on Mail Order Tux & Tails
« on: March 24, 2016, 03:04:04 PM »
Due to financial matters, I've decided to put up my cherished Tux on eBay however, since I REALLY don't *want* to sell him I put him up for a ridic high price of like $125. I know he's not going for that much so I eventually lowered the price to $100 and then lowered it again to $80.   Last I recall, he was holding steady around the $75 to $80 mark but I thought I'd ask the pony experts for some pricing advice. ALSO, someone sent me what I feel is a 'low ball' Best Offer of $50 which I declined almost as soon as I received it. :lookround:

Just wanted to know between pony friends what a good price to fetch for him is?? Thanks in advance! :bigups:

So my mom has accompanied me to three Pony Fairs so far and has been well versed on what a G1 looks like and what a fakie looks like etc. She's become very proud of herself for recognizing G1s in the 'wild' and always is super excited to show me what she's found for me.  I started re-collecting in 2006 so it's taken nearly 10 years or so to get her to the point where I've convinced her that it's perfectly normal for a woman in her 30s to be collecting vintage toys although she still has issue with my clawing obsession (but that's another story entirely!)

A few months ago she was hunting around the GW in my hometown (i've since moved an hour away so I don't get to look in that location much anymore) and she called me up on the phone all excited that she found FOUR G1s and two with 'hairy feet' as she described them. I got very hyped up because I knew 'hairy feet' meant BOY ponies and it's so rare to me to find boy ponies in the 'wild.' :whoa:  Sure enough, when she came down for a visit and brought over the goodies, I discovered that I had a Big Brother pony and a  Loving Family Daddy pony. :lovey:   She also found a mini Lyra Heartstrings plushie which I didn't have yet either!

Then last night we went to the Northside GW Outlet and I gotta say it really helps to bring a second pair of eyes along with you because we arrived with less than a half hour till closing so I was speeding through all the bins looking for treasures and I totally missed what she found right by the door! :drunk:   She wanted to surprise me with them later but I spied pink furry feet on the scale when she was weighing her items and I gasped and was WHERE DID YOU FIND THOSE?! :silly:

BRIGHT BOUQUET Loving Family Daddy!!!

Now I need to complete the fams and get Mommy and baby. :lovey:

AND...  this lil cutie!!

I've never had any of the Friends/Pals before but i know this is Nectar the Panda.  I'm not sure which pony came with this set. Seems to be in pretty good condition though! Only a few stray marks which I'm sure will be easily removed with a few swipes of Magic Eraser.

Here they are chilling out with two other vintage toys I found at the other GW Outlet a few weeks ago. Lionel (?) Thunder Cats figure and a Mattel Lil Pretty.

And last but not least!! More bin ponies and toys from a month or so ago that I hadn't a chance to brag about yet. :silly:

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I finally got a MEGAN doll which I never had as a kid! I found this strange because I thought Sundance came with Megan? But I'm pretty sure that I never had her as a kid because I don't remember playing with her. I clearly remember playing with Sundance a lot though especially with her pretty pink flower bridle.  This was a good variety of the different ponies since I found So Softs, Twiinkle Eyes, Glow N' Show, Happy Tails and Drink n' Wet varieties.

I hadn't found any G1s in a really long time so mom finding those G1s for me was a wonderful surprise. It really does pay off to teach your family how to spot things that you collect. I'm very grateful that she understands and appreciates my love of MLP more now than when I first started collecting. It's not just 'baby stuff' at all but it's a joy that can be spread through all generations of age. I'll never outgrow my love for vintage toy goodness or MLP! :lovey:
