I woke up to a warm summer morning, and so took the opportunity to drain out some G1s I cleaned last night. The washing line can be useful for more than just clothes!

I've already tried it, so long as their heads can already come off (so they can drain out), it works a treat! Tried it with glitter symbol ponies and it doesn't take off their glitter at all. I put them in tights so their symbols/eyes can't rub, then in a pillow case, then in the machine on delicates/30 degrees/lowest spin :)
