I've had two successful pony hunts and I wanted to share!


At Target yesterday, I was looking for the Pony School Pals set when I stumbled upon Honeybuzz who'd fallen behind some other merchandise.  I  instantly fell in love!

Look at that little bumblebee!  I just couldn't leave her behind, so she came home to meet Twinkleshine with Cheerilee and the Cutie Mark Crusaders!

Today I decided to hit some thrift stores, even though I haven't had any luck with MLP (everyone in my town must love theirs too much to give them away, haha!)  But then I spotted someone jumbled in with a bunch of toys in one of those $1.49 grab bags full of odds and ends....

Oh my.  Scooter Sprite needed a little TLC.  I took her home, shampooed and conditioned her mane, and got rid of the marker stains with a little hair spray!

Ta-da!  She's not much, but I'm happy to have rescued her.  Plus, you just can't go wrong for a buck-fifty!

The hairspray trick was something I learned from my mom, who is also an avid thrifter.  It works for ball point pen ink too.  All you have to do is spray some on and rub.  Sometimes I scrape with my fingernail to get the stubborn bits out.  Sometimes it takes a few rounds, but it's definitely worth a try!  I hope you guys have luck with it!
