Hello to everyone. My name is Michelle and I am from Canada.
 I have loved My Little Ponies since I was a little girl. Last year we had an 80s party and I found some G1 ponies I use to have and used them as display props. I had not seen them in years and I forgot how beautiful they are. So it started from there. I collect G1 ponies and love making them look pretty and even going to try and do some custom ones.. My collection is not big, but it is slowly growing. I look forward to chatting with you all on getting ideas and some helpful hints!!!

Welcome to the Arena.  So who where some of your childhood ponies your rediscovered?

To my surprise the first one I found was at a thrift shop and it was my favorite as a child. I loved the color pink, so I had to have Heart Throb. She is my favorite. I few of my other favorites are Gusty, Bowtie, Medley and Firefly. I enjoy all ponies, but I have a soft spot for those ones and will gladly take them, in any condition.

That was a lucky find. It's great the original ponies are still showing up at thrift stores and car boot sales.
