You never know. Their last April Fools joke did become a reality.

Galactica, it's in poor taste if they are making fun of themselves.  Or at least it's just really really odd that they would bring it up again.  Not to mention I thought they said the shiny versions were the last versions they would make (so buy them now!).

If it is a joke do they really want:

A.  Angry people that thought they were buying a real figure and find out it is a joke thus alienating the group that is eating this up.
B.  To remind people why they dislike WLF by bringing it up again.
C.  Show that WLF isn't ever to be trusted.  Not even to deliver a product.

I'm a bit of a TRON nerd, so I wouldn't mind too much if this is real. If not... eh.

I haven't been following the WLF debacles too closely, so I can't really speak about their business practices. I take it they claim something is a rare/ exclusive thing, then end up producing a million variants of it anyway? If so, that's pretty rude on their part/

It's still up there...still available to order...and a release date along with the other two vinyls.

Ladies and Gents...this might be real

I've received no refund or email stating it was a April Fools from them.

Another DJ!? I think the Blacklight DJ is real, but the 'other 4 variants'  might be a prank. The item description is funny LOL! I dont know if I want one because if I get one...i would be supporting the production of more same-pose DJ variants! I think 3 is enough WLF.....

I was thinking that even if the Tron variation was for real-  would they really do one with rooted hair and the other variations described?  I guess so- since the announcement is still up.

And you are right Marigold- They DID say the Shiny versions were the last time that we'd see DJ or Muffins EVER AGAIN!!!

Guess that was another lie.  Wasn't the first, nor will it be the last.   These kind of practices irritate some collectors, but I guess they don't care since there are plenty more that keep on shelling out WAY too much for these figures.

They just updated:

Quote
All of you who purchased a Black Light DJ PON-3 figure yesterday, you can breathe easy… you actually purchased her!  This groovetastic Vinyl Scratch figure is real, and will be shipping in late July.  That said.. all that other stuff about real rooted hair and rotating turntables?  Yeah, we were pulling your legs.  This is the LAST of the last of the PON-3 variants, really and truly!

We do, however, have more freakin' awesome MLP vinyls coming your way in the coming months. They are all NEW. They are all rad. Who are they? We can't say… yet. Stay tuned for updates!

I now hate We Love Fine.  Really and truly.

That being said, this is an "interesting" variant.  I guess someone really likes those Tron youtube videos:

I do not trust them at all and I won't ever buy from them again.  Not even if (as quoted above):

They STILL lied about the chrome ponies being the last variation.

Also what does "BD" mean?   I keep seeing one of the WLF reps posting it after positive comments.

I found one of the places they said they will not be producing any more Muffin or DJ Pon3s from this mold.  It is in the comments of the chrome Muffin.  I am sure I read it elsewhere too, but here is at least some proof:

Justine writes:  "Nope! These are the last runs for the Snuggle Bubble and the DJ PON molds. We will no longer be creating more figures after these have sold out."

and

"We do apologize as we're discontinuing these figures after the chrome set."

There are also comments from someone else on the Chrome DJ page saying the chromes are the last runs.

Sad thing is, if it had rooted hair I might like it.
Probably doesn't own a stolen piece of the Taj Mahal.

They are seriously such liars! I am actually pretty surprised that there are not more people boycotting them.  They have now proven, without any doubt, that they will say anything to make a sale whether it is true or not.  Seems like they are violating some consumer protection act laws here, but

It is okay to like it.  I don't think anyone is actually saying it is ugly or unlikable.  :)

Huh, that's pretty sneaky. I know they're out to make money, but still.

I dont like them...never have and will admit to finding every single vinyl they have produced pretty ugly and unlike-able.
I'm glad I'm not the only one :P
