Yay for color changing hair!

I just took my Sand Digger outside for a quick experiment- to see if her hair still changed color. I was skeptical it would since I know she's been through hell and back, but I was so surprised when it started turning purple- and so fast, too!! Granted I don't think it's as vibrant as it used to be, but I'm just so dang happy it still works I think she's now my most favorite pony out of my whole collection!

Though I do have a quick question, on the more visible of her hind feet, there's gray... Stuff. I'm doubtful that it's cancer (since that stuff is usually brown, right?) but what is it? Dirt that could still be inside her hoof? Surface dirt that's been ground into the vinyl? THE WORK OF ALIENS???

It doesn't bother me too much either way, I'm just so freaking happy that her hair still works! Also it's kinda hard to see but I styled it and gave her curls I think it looks lovely on her!

That is awesome! Colour changing hair is the best!!!!
As for the grey, I think it's dirt or rust on the inside of the pony, I had a few like that and a quick scrub on the inside cleaned it all up
