I've found that they are either feast or famine. I've been to plenty where I've found nothing, but then I've found the entire set of TAF babies for $36. I always go and pay the price of admission just in case.

HOT water can straighten some tinsel but you could also try using a flat iron on low temperature. Be careful, it can strip the colouring off the tinsel. Make sure that you use tons of water and conditioner.

If you are worried about the colouring coming off, I would use hot water and a comb/my fingers to gently pull the tinsel straight (being careful not to stretch it too much.)

The pony's name is Jenny and she was made in the country of Macau, rather than Hong Kong or China. She is a nirvana pony

I would be just as hesitant as you to paint it! I also have white pony storage and I prefer it to other colors but that cabinet is just too gorgeous as is! I've toyed with the idea of getting an antique cabinet for my special ponies but they are usually too much $$$ that I'd rather spend on ponies

I suppose you won't really know until you have it in your possession and can see what it looks like with ponies in it. I want to see too so pics please!!!
