According to the seller, the face feels sticky and they even tried to wipe it off and the stickiness did not go away. I've only recently started collecting older toys so I'm not really familiar with what this could be, I'm guessing it's like when ponies get sticky.. Would this be one to avoid?

I'm quite new to collecting old stuffed animals and I was wondering about 60's sawdust filled stuffed animals, are these generally fine, if not is there a way to tell? I found some really cute ones on eBay but when I mentioned it to a friend they said something about them probably being infested with mites and other bugs that could live off sawdust. I apologize if this is a silly question but after hearing about possible bugs I'd like to know if this is something likely to occur or not?
The only thing I've really ever collected was ponies and other plastic stuff that can be easily taken apart and cleaned, but old stuffed animals not so much.

I'm looking for a "My Very Own Puppy" for a friend of mine. "My Very Own Puppy" was a toy dog made by Mattel in the 90's. They're flocked, poseable, and some of them squeak. The condition doesn't really matter. The flocking can be messed up, the collar can be missing, and the breed/color doesn't matter. The only thing my friend wants is for it to be able to squeak (when the mouth is opened). visitors can't see pics , please register or login(More pictures)

I was looking at different Beddy Bye Eye ponies and I came upon this image of an adult Beddy Bye Eye pony. I tried to see where it originally came from but all I got was it re-posted a couple times on Pinterest. From the description on Pinterest it said this was a prototype.. Anyone know more about this pony? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I have a couple of toys with rubber faces from the 1940-1950s and I was later informed of asbestos being commonly used in rubber materials as well as paint and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this being used in older toys? I apologize if this is a dumb question but I'm kind of concerned now since asbestos wasn't banned from being used in materials till the 1970s.

Most of the ones I've seen are from the 1950's or 1970's. Does anyone collect them and how would you wash them? I've been thinking of getting one but this one I'm looking at looks like it needs to be washed. Idk if they have names but I just call them rubber face toys because they have rubber heads/faces and plush bodies. Here's one- visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I bought a Twinkle-Eyed pony a bit ago and the first thing I noticed about her was that she had a brown spot on her. I saw it in the image before purchasing her but I didn't think anything of it, I thought it was dirt. Recently I've started to notice some more brown spots and her back leg is starting to bend, become thin, and feel sticky when you touch it. It looks as if the plastic is melting, but it is only 76 degrees in the house and my other ponies are not melting like this, so I assume it's the pony cancer/brown spots. This is the only pony I've ever had with brown spots and the appearance of melting, so I'm curious, what's the worst you've seen? Do they get very bad quickly? Could it be something else? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is one of the spots on Masquerade. This is the only picture I have that focused on the spots.

You know those big bags you put clothes in and then suck the air out so its smaller and easier to store? Well, I was thinking of using one of those to put some stuffed animals in for traveling. I have a couple 90's stuffed dogs and cats but I'm afraid they could possibly get ruined from being smushed up, should they be fine? They'd probably be in the bag for about a day maybe? I don't want them getting dirty and being packed smaller would be easier to carry around.

I don't remember what they're called- I remember they look plastic with fuzz on them.. They had realistic coloured ones then bright colours. I remember there being a pink one with blue.. They were from the 80's or 90's?
I'm pretty sure their faces were plastic then the rest of them had fur/fuzz on them.. The paws might of been plastic too?
I remember seeing one on eBay and someone mentioning them on here.. I couldn't find the topic in which they were mentioned on. I thought it was Pretty Kitties or something but that's not it.. They seem to be very hard to find..

Basically it looks like a 'background' with stickers. I'm guessing you put the stickers on the background. I found a bunch in a box.. At the top it has a picture of a purple octopus and it says "Ollie Octopus"
I have no idea what I just found.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I remember when I was real young I had a lot of G3 My Little Pony. In fact, my friend had some too. She even gave me some of hers because I had lost mine. I honestly don't know what happened to them.

I've had pictures a couple different pictures, but they were all of the same guy. I always sorta wondered if anyone ever knew who he was and just didn't ever say anything. What yours?

My friend got one for $20 but most I've seen are over $100. The pony she got is in pretty good condition too.

I'm just sorta wondering because sometimes I don't go on for a whole month due to being busy (such as traveling) and some sites will delete your account for being inactive... Hopefully no matter how inactive you are, your account will remain?

I donated some clothes to GoodWill a few years ago and decided to look for some ponies, but I can't remember if they had G1. I remember they had G3, but that's all. Do they usually have G1? (At the time I was looking for G3 because that was what I always had.) Also, hi everyone! I've been gone for a while, glad to be back!
