So far everything seems similar... The only major change has been Mauville City. It's... ....Ugh.
Plot seems the same so far.
New town, professor attacked by nooby pokémon, meet dad, meet Wally, first gym, deliver letter with Mr Britney, go to other island place... The cave you meet Steven. That's very very different. It kinda bummed me out, honestly. Slateport seems the same, contests just barely altered.
Hoped it wasn't too spoilery. 
I haven't tried the game, but this puts me off. As a kid, Mauville was always my choice of hi eminent the game, as a central place I'd fly from. If itreallyis different, I wint want to play this anymore

I'm about to cancel my preorder. Whilst it'll always be my favourite game, I have more important things to be paying off right now, I'm sad I won't get a shiny mega metagross, but eh, I can always trade for one in future. In truth, I ahven't played my 3DS XL for about 2 months now as I just don't have the time, and I owe my mum for a £55 iPhone 3G (which I don't even use), and I'd like to work on my Disney DVD collection a bit more, so this will sit on the back burner possibly til mid next year.
EDIT: All cancelled, and I must admit, I do feel much better now, since I've owed mum the money for a month, and I get £5 a week PM still so I need to pay her back asap!

Yesterday I bought an Orange Hot Chocolate from Costa, as the 7th of November is the release date of their Christmas LE drinks, so I ran down their as fast as I could after college to celebrate the 'official' Christmas start, as this to me, in my calendar, celebrates the beginning of Christmas!

I've still got my preorder, didn't remove it yet. I don't have time for gaming, or anything else fun anymore, since I've got 3 out of 5 university offers, all I'm doing is ploughing through the work!
