DollyHair question

I recently put in my first order at DollyHair. I got an order confirmation email but that's it. I emailed her a few days ago asking if its been shipped yet and I haven't gotten any response :(
Has anyone have problems with DollyHair recently? Or is there another hair supplier that I should try? I'm new to customizing and buying hair so I'm not sure.

My last order shipped after a week and a half round about.  How long has it been? Retro dolls is also experiencing some delays because of health issues concerning the owner. 
I'm not really on here anymore. Email me if you need my for something.

I ordered and paid on May 4th so it's been a week. My order is only 4 hanks so its pretty small. I'm more concerned about the lack of communication :/

Even before the issues started, Dollyhair has been weird about sending shipping notices. Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't. I've noticed that she's more likely to send shipping notices with larger orders, though, so maybe it's just because it was a small order? I wouldn't give up hope yet.

Should I try emailing her again or just play the waiting game? I know a week isn't that long but it's the lack of communication that's really bugging me. She should answer my first email and let me know what's going on, wether its shipped yet or not.

Also what are some other (possibly better) places to order hair from? (I'm from Canada if that makes a difference).

Emailing her again may be a good idea. Tina has said on a few occasions that she answers new email before old, so it's possible that your email may have been bumped down the list by other ones. I've emailed her on a few occasions, though, and she usually responded 3-4 days later.

RetroDolls US is good, though, I find their site a kinda confusing right now what with all of the construction going on. However, the owner is super sweet, so don't be scared to ask her any questions you have. My Little Customs is UK based, but they have most of the same nylon as Dollyhair, as well as some other cool stuff. Their international shipping is expensive, though -- I actually had them ship to my friend in the UK so that way I didn't have to pay it... $10 for one hank! I've never ordered from RetroDolls UK directly, but I've gotten hair from them as a preorder on the US site, and it was all very nice and came within a timely manner considering it was international. Finally, I've only ordered from RestoreDoll twice, but the stuff I got was very good. They're a bit pricey, though, and they're lacking in the nylon department -- they're better for saran. Their site is more difficult to use, as well, since it's pretty outdated.

I think somewhere on her page it even says she doesn't always send a shipping notice. I didn't get one and I wasn't worried with my small order. I did get one wrong hank by accident. She fixed the problem by sending the correct hank and another 'extra hank' so I have two colors I don't need as of yet but I'm pleased so far. She did take a while to get back to me as well, but again on one of her pages she admits she wont.. in fact I think that page kinda makes it sound like she doesn't care about her business, but it is her business and she is still getting customers. (mainly do to lack of competition since it isn't a highly sought after items)

I know she hasn't always sent shipping notifications, and since you're in canada obviously the delivery time will be longer. But she did say in her last topic here that all orders would be shipping the day after they were placed (though this hasn't proven to be the case so far.) Either way,  hopefully it's on the way and you just haven't gotten notification :\

I recall hearing she doesn't send shipping notices for international orders. I've never got one, but all orders have arrived without problems in 2-3 weeks. Hope yours will arrive soon! :)

ok I have purchased from dollyhair twice now. the first time, I got a confirmation email but nothing else. I want to say the hair showed up in something like 12 days. this last time, I got a shipping email a day after I ordered, and it just got here today (7 days in the mail)
