G3 Green Apple

Hi pony fans,

I am curious how rare G3 Green Apple is and how much she is worth. I was lucky to bid and win her NIB on ebay for 9.00$ and have never seen her previously so I am curious about her now

That is a very good questions. I have only seen two of her listed for last in the last 5 months that I have been looking. I know that she seems to a bit harder to find. As for price I am not to sure. Giving this bump for hopes that someone will know

That seems like a great price! She doesnt come up too often to be honest and while she is not super sought after she is a harder to find G3 Congrats on adding her to your collection!

I don't know how rare she is but beware that she has the rotting pink hair. I have two who have it. It might be best to leave her NIB so the hair doesnt get broken off as fast.

I consider myself very good with knowing my ponies, but she is new to me. 

She's really pretty. It's a shame about her hair though.

No idea what she's worth. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Took me a minute there.  Dollar General / Family Dollar pony might make her more HTF but I can't see her being that expensive.  Only a handful of G3s are..

Interestingly enough as far as ebay averages, she hit a $20 loose average last month, so.....I would say that is a good score.

Thanks for all of the advice That is sad to hear about her hair issues though. I never thought I would add her into my collection but saw her NIB for the first time ever and decided to place a bid and won.

Oh strange, she's not very green is she? lol You would think Granny Smith is more of a Green Apple than this pony is.

If i didn't remember wrongly, she belongs to the 2nd wave of ponies that you could used to find at the dollar shop? Yeah, these ponies are made of more inferior quality. I have all of them and their hair are not the normal pony hair because they don't style as easily. They feel more like fakie hair.

I got mine in Singapore, they were a store exclusive where you had to get the Butterfly Island playset and get one of these as a bonus. Fortunately I was there when they had a sales glitch and put out the wrong ponies, and I snatch them without buying the playset, which I already had at that time.

I didnt know she was that high already in price. There are quite a few G3s that dont show up much. The rotting pink hair is on a handful of ponies. I know JazzMatazz has it. I assume some G4s will get it since they are made cheaper and the pink hair didnt start to go bad until G4s had already been released.

I have her and I haven't had any problems with her hair luckily For some reason the Dollar Store ponies and the ones in the Toys R Us Easter baskets and also the Avon ponies were made with really cheap hair. They don't style very good and I have heard of the hair rotting. Hopefully you'll have no problem with yours, mine hasn't given me any trouble
