They're actual dolls, but they haven't been completed yet so all we have to go off are rough concept design sketches.

If a company like Integrity made the EQ dolls, I know I'd be happier with the dolls I think. Yea, I'd be paying more but the quality would equal the price.

However, we know Hasbro can do better, I've seen the Descendant dolls Hasbro. Why you no do EQDolls better Hasbro? Whyyy?

I don't mean to sound negative, but why can't this high end line make some actual PONIES? It would be neat!

I was thinking the same thing.  It seems like the MLP brand is focusing more on new dolls than ponies.  I have to wonder why they even call it My Little Pony anymore.  I feel like these are doll versions of bronies too, not saying bronies are bad or anything.  This idea just seems weird to me is all.

Ponies would be awesome- but since they are a very small family company that only makes fashion dolls (mostly based on current fashions) I don't think they would even be able to make ponies. 

The fashion dolls wearing pony themed clothing and accessories is a real stretch for what Integrity already does. I can't see them making ponies.  I would have liked Equestria girls probably, but maybe Hasbro didn't want a doll like to compete with their existing line.

I really think that the popularity of Integrity dolls will depend on how cute they look once the concepts are done and we see prototypes of the dolls and accessories. The outfits are really basic for Integrity dolls- so I hope they are priced a lot lower than your typical Integrity doll or there are a LOT of accessories that we aren't seeing yet (like maybe even a resin pony ??)

Hey some of the EG dolls are on par with the Descendants. The Rockin Hair and Deluxe Friendship Games dolls are really nice with full outfits and articulation.

I'll have to echo the mixed feelings others have about these. The designs and overall concept is nice, but the style doesn't mix well with ponies IMHO.

(This is slightly off-topic, but do the eyes on the Twilight sketch look odd to anyone else? I know the artist wasn't going for realism, but they look like they're set too close to the edge of the face.)

Huh - I didn't know that fashion sketches were so stylized, I assumed they would be more proportional. I learn something new everyday.

Yeah- fashion sketches are weird.  No idea why they are drawn that way but it has definitely been the traditional style for a very long time... it's probably what they teach in fashion school too.

It is my sincere hope that this is exactly what will be included... they are SO good with miniatures and accessories- I HOPE they make at least one pony each for each of the dolls- I mean, they are supposed to be Pony Fans right? So they need ponies.

Nothing yet.  I'm a member of the wclub so I will for sure post when I get an announcement!

The original press release announcement said the dolls are expected to be released "Fourth Quarter" for Integrity- which ends in February this year, so we will probably hear about them at any point between now and then...

Well for me they're not. But then again I'm kinda ruined in the fact that I'm also a doll collector so looking at the 'deluxe' EQ dolls I just don't see them as better compared to other dolls. I just find them kinda meh.
