What is your favorite generation? What is your least favorite?

G3 is my favorite, and the only generation I really "hate" are G3.5.

Here's my order: G3, G1, G2, G4, G3.5

Fave: G1 -- this is what I had as a child... I like the babies!!
2nd: G3 -- my friend's kid liked these, so I bought these for her. 3.5 came towards the end of time that she still got ponies as gifts
Least: G2 -- I have no memory of these, so they aren't "ponies" to me

I haven't watched any G1 cartoons in recently, but I like G1 graphics over all the others.  I watched some FiM but it didn't hold my interest any more than others.

By far my favorite is G1. I only have a collection because I wouldn't let go of them when I was "too old" for toys and most all went to donations. Generations two-today are all new to me. I had no idea until last year that they were still making ponies! So it goes G1, G3, G4... then g2 and g3.5 are pretty and I would not pass them up on a good deal just to have a few in my collection.

I would have to say G1 is my #1 and G2 + G3 fight out for 2nd and 3rd... G3.5 and G4 fight it out for 4th and 5th....

My favourite is G1. There's so many of them and there is so much variety! Seaponys, Twinkle Eyes, Twice as Fancy, Babies, Big Brothers, there is just so much diversity and thats why they take my personal crown.

Least favourite... G3.5, I actually don't dislike it, I think they're sort of adorable, but they just aren't as great as all the other generations!

Least favorite? G3. I think the ponies look nice, but its not my thing!

G2 I don't remember and are just weird looking to me. No.

G3.5 I don't care much for

G4 are at least cuter than G2 and G3.5 so they're fine by me, just wish they were a tad bigger

I would have to say G1. I grew up with them. I never knew G2 and G3 existed  until I started to collect G4's. I was aware of G3.5 and have never liked them.

If I were to put them in order I would say this:

G1, G3, G4, G2

I actually think the G3.5 toys have grown on me.. Is why I kept 2 of them when I sold almost my whole collection today. I kept Pinkie's mum and Rainbow Dash.

It's funny how some people said they don't like G2 because they don't look like MLP, but that was also my initial reaction when I discovered G1 and G3

So yeah, G2 first and everything else in second place
