1134

I might be wrong on price but a lot of Taobao errors/proto ponies go for $10-$15 but I don't see this one come up much so she would likely be on the higher end $20-$25

Thanks Mikeysgirrrl for your input but the Mods will handle it at this point.

Sandana can you please send me a PM with full details with this transaction?

Thank you!  PL  Site Mod

Sure :)

I have no idea if its really broken or just buyers remorse- so far they are making excuses about why they can't get a photo... it seems fishy to me- that's why I'm asking for a little help.

Ok I'm having an issue hear and I'm pretty sure I'm in the right however I would really like some input if anyone has experience with this.

So I have a customer who bought a custom just under a month ago and now they are saying it arrived broken- fair enough stuff happens some times. Normally I would just issue a refund after the item had been returned (as per my shops policy). However they are not wanting to return the custom because they are calming shipping from Finland to the US will be worth more then the custom- I highly doubt that.

If there's anyone one in Finland who could tell me how much a small 4oz box would cost to send to the US that would be helpful... I'm doubting its even near the $35 price for the pony :/

 Thanks! That's nuts, my Walmart has like... 4 colors, hahaha but great to know those colors exist because that's the brand I've gotten in the past too, the only sort of pastel color I have right now is yellow but it's still pretty vibrant. I think I just need to wait until spring colors come out.

Either way, if you ever make any princesses like that again, you've got a buyer lined up right here. They are so stunning.

most Walmarts only carry seasonal colors- the bright/pastel stuff should be back soon. Joanns tends to have all the colors year round- and they carry them online~

I agree that Cadences design looks lazy- especially with how nice Twilight looks but I'm still going to get her~ Along with any others they release in this style.

Mine have a shelf on a book case- I used foam board to make risers and a mini shelf along the top so you can see everyone.

Introductions / Re: Princess Gryph, at your service ;)

Welcome, happy to see you finally joined. lol, if you keep looking at the new LPS they will grow on you XD the fairy ones are particularly adorable- I don't even collect them but I still ended up with a few.

I don't know, man. I nostalgia pretty hard for my old-school pets. I liked that they were more realistic. I remember every single one I had, even some of the names I had for them...:

I couldn't find a picture of the last one, but it was a little dog crate with 3 tiny dogs, and the crate opened up into a playset like a Polly Pocket.
It is really tempting to recreate this collection. I regret giving them up.

I hated the newer G4 design of the ponies when I first saw it; only reason it eventually grew on me was because of the awesome characters.

I had that same bunny set and the Hamsters XD this one was my favorite childhood one I still have the whole set :)

the new ones are a lot more fantasy but I find they looks really cute as animal friends for my G3 and G2 ponies~ I really love there two-

Pony Corral / Re: Pony photography tips? Plus, show off your pictures!

I echo what Sanadaookami said about light.  Whether you're outdoors or indoors, it's the most important thing when it comes to taking photos.  I take my collection photos indoors with a white piece of heavy paper leaned against the wall with natural lighting.  After lighting, the next most important thing is how steady the camera is.  If you don't have a tripod, you can rest your camera on a box or a stack of books.  I also use the auto-timer for shots because it eliminates the movement caused by depressing the shutter, which can lead to blurriness in photos.  This definitely helps if you're using a macro like Stormness does, or if you take shots from further away and crop the rest out, like I do.

I love the idea of using playsets as backdrops, so I hope I'll get a chance to do that soon.

Oh- yes camera steadiness is a big deal. if you cant do tripod/books and need to shoot free handed keep your arms tucked in next to your torso- (or anchored to another surface like a table) your elbows should be touching your sides and hold the camera with both hands. I know it feels awkward but it will do a lot to stable the shot.

Also if you find your hands shaking frequently eat a banana :) Potassium controls the activity of our muscle and nerve cells, and over time its deficiency may also cause shaky hands and tremors.
