I got a lot of pony mail yesterday, including a big lot of ponies in various conditions, and when I mean various -- I mean various.. eek!  . . . Was a bit overwhelming! But I got it at an amazing deal...the pony genie strikes again! 

Several I'm sending to my pony friend Featherwurm ( waves hello if she's reading this!  ) for restoration work. ... There's all kinds -- from tail rust to rehairing projects...eye / neck issues, etc. I'm still too chicken to decapitate ponies and work on /clean their insides..   I will give the ones I have here a good spa treatment...that I can handle!

Hi y'all!

I received the ponies several weeks ago and will prepare most of them for hair styling! It's just taking a bit longer than usual.. My grandfather passed away Feb. 14, and the ponies were delivered right before I left town for the funeral.. When I returned, I wasn't in the right mood to unbox them and such, so that's why the delay.. plus, I recently moved and need to find my hair cleaning supplies since I'm not completely unpacked! But anyways.. I wanted to update on here. 

Featherwurm did an OUTSTANDING job on them.   And I couldn't be happier! The complete "before and after" photos can be seen on her MLP memories blog (link is in her sig). Check it out when you can! 

Here's a photo I took Tuesday evening of the TAFs who visited Featherwurm, along with Munchy, who returned to the herd after my Christmas swap partner got a Munchy for Christmas.. hehe - but that's a different story!

I can't wait to share!!  Will post pictures here after swaps are over. I'm hoping to work with Featherwurm to have a nice 'before and after' brag of all the ponies I sent her for restoration work..that will definitely be after the holidays..

Hehe, I thought about doing that, but I already sent Pearl the box and wanted her to be surprised too   I suppose I can take some pics of the ponies left here this weekend when I open the smell chamber and start doing spa treatments..

I did take a photo of the ponies in the box going to Pearl before I shipped them..hehe, I'll share that one and some other pics hopefully at some point on Saturday.

One seller sent me the wrong set of lovelies.. I talked with her so I'm getting a discount on the order and we're doing an exchange... will be waiting for the right set to come in... I hope to do RAOPKs / 'free +shipping' deals with this group. This particular big group of ponies belonged to the seller's daughter who died last December. I'm honored to be giving these ponies new homes, whether they be with me or other collectors.

Up first, Milky Way, Sweet Pop and Whirly Twirl!  I've been looking for WT casually and stumbled upon him...wheee!! He was my bro's pony and one of the last ponies I was looking for to complete my own childhood collection...he wouldn't mind! They are so darling.. Sweet Pop will be going to my bro's gf as a Christmas present, along with a couple other ponies from my collection that I wasn't too attached to.

Whoohooo, more ponies! That Firefly I had acquired earlier but just put her in the smell chamber because she was still stinky..
These are the ones that weren't in too bad of shape. There is Pink Dreams!! yay I finally got her! Aside from her and Firefly, I'm not totally sure who I'll be keeping and who will be going to new homes.

And last, but not least...the kinda grubby group! They have made it to Featherwurm safe and sound, and she'll begin the process of fixing them right up!

There are a few that need some moderate work (Yum Yum, Merriweather, Sparkler), the others just minor, traditional stuff.
Once they are cleaned up, most will be on the way to their new homes! I'm not totally sure who I will be keeping...
