I have spent several years with the g1 mail order Twice as Fancy Baby Sugarberry at the very tip-toppiest of my wishlist.  I have the rest of the set and I'd yet to find a Baby Sugarberry who was in great shape and in my price range.  With her delicate strawberry paint details and her white (but not for long!) body--she just seems to be the pony of the set bound to be in the roughest shape.  I wanted a great one and I held out for a really long, long time.  :D

My goal, my single goal at Pony Fair this year, was to buy a Baby Sugarberry.  I cancelled my vending tables so that I could be quick on my feet.  I studied the vendor previews to see who had one.  I made a map of potential booths-to-check-for-Baby-Sugarberry and I had my hunting eyes set for her particular shade of watermelon-y hair.  I'd trained all year for this--I would not fail!!  :D

And then I failed.  :p  I found a lot of great stuff at Pony Fair, don't get me wrong, but not her.  One booth had her MIB and I moonedly walked by about forty times.  :D

So, my signature line mentions my search, and this past week I got a message from Cupcakebunny.  She steered me to Rhini and, some very generous (on her part) negotiation later, I'd managed to buy myself Baby Sugarberry--in stellarly perfect condition.

She arrived while I was out of town this weekend, survived any roving bands of porch package pony thieves, and was reunited with her little, doubly-fancy friends.  :D

I am over-the-moon happy to have them.  Over the moon.  Thank you both, hugely, for doing so much to help me get the last piece to this set.  I owe you.  She's so loved.  So darling!  :)

Now I just need to get little baby friends for all the other TAFs custom-made!  :D  I also have to change my signature line.  It's time to focus on another pony goal.  :)  This one's a big, happy checkmark.  :)

Aww.  I loved your story about the fair.  "I would not fail...  And then I failed."  My heart sank for you!  I'm so glad Rhini came to your rescue so that you now have such a pretty little girl in your collection. (I love the MOCs behind her in your pics too!!)
