Pony Room of Doom!

Just wanted to share something. I will apologize in advance for how absolutely horrid the pictures are. I don't have a fancy high tech digicam like many here do, though I wish I did. But I'm too busy blowing all my money on other stuff. So we'll just have to make do with my crappy phone cam.

I felt like sharing the shelves my daddy helped me build! It's hard to see, but they are filled up all the way to the back. I need better lighting so I can see them in all their pony glory. My dad is planning on installing new lighting in my room. Isn't my dad like....awesome?
These were built primarily for my G3s which have been in storage for years. It was fun to say 'hi' to all them again! Those on the top shelf are my prized ponies. I have all twelve of the birthflower G3s (shameless brag), so they deserved their own little shelf at the top of the pony hierarchy!

And its not a shameless brag about having all the birthflower ponies! I want them all so bad. I had all of them at one time and sold them all off. I am so stupid for doing that. I do have one coming to me in the mail. And she is still in her box.

Mine would be selling off my entire G1 collection when I was 13 years old to go on a cruise with my family. My brother convinced me to sell them because I lost interest. When I gained interest again at 15 when the G3s came out, I was devastated with my past decision. Now I'm 24 and my collection is so much bigger it's insane. So I know you can get those ponies back.

I wish that we knew what we do now when we were younger. But then we would never learn new things.

I know how you feel. I have over 300 Breyer horses when I lived at home and then moved out. I could not afford things so I had to sell almost all of them. I got down to 8 that I could not sell. I do still have them to this day. A few years later I kicked myself for selling them all. I started collecting again and got back up to about 100. Then things went down hill sold them all off again. Bought a bounch again when things got better. Started getting in ponies when the G3 ones came out. Traded and sold off alot of my breyers for ponies and the rest was history.  I did have a very big collection of ponies back in 2004. Then I lost interest when the core seven came out and I sold off a most of them. Got down to 12 ponies. I was not sure on the new ones after that. I would look at them time to time.
What got me back into it was a trip to a second hand store. They had kids toys and there was a package to two G3 ponies in mint condition for $4.50. I bought them for my daughter. Two days later I won two lots of ponies on ebay.  I went and bought 14 new G4 ponies the other day. And have been bidding like crazy on ebay. And of course I have breyer horses up for sale to help pay for the ponies. I just need to stay in something for good. 

Sorry I will stop going on and on......LOL

And age does not matter for a hobby. I am 28 and have a 8 year old pony crazy daughter
