Swap Meet Treasures

About two weeks ago I visited the local swap meet and came back with TONS of adorable fakies and a few G3's. Needless to say, I was pleased with my findings, and I decided to go back again yesterday.. Oh boy, was I in for a treat!

All the G3's and pink Princess Celestia were a buck each, which was great by itself, but I was especially delighted to find a lot of G1's (and one really cute fakie)! The guy let me pay $20 for sixteen ponies, including SS Twilight (with very pink hair - SQUEEE), Scribbles, Lucky the stallion, TE Quackers and baby, TE Tic Tac Toe, SS Taffy, and Puddles and Peeks. I also got Nibbles and Dibbles (not pictured), who are both incredibly minty after just a light cleaning. The rest still have some surface dirt, but I don't see any major issues and am hoping many of them will clean up just as beautifully as Nibbles and Dibbles.  :lovey: So happy!

And as if the ponies weren't enough, I spotted someone else peeking out of a box of junk..

Cleo! Poor girl is missing her arms, which is probably why I got her for 50 cents. :D Other than that, she is in such beautiful shape. Currently open to suggestions on the best course of action to get her whole again. My sister said I should just shove some sticks in there and then wrap them in bandages, and nobody would ever know  :lmao:

Huge congrats, that was some great finds.  As to your doll, maybe some one can cast some for you?  Or check ebay for body parts.

not sure if htis would work.. but check micheals or jo anns or even hobby lobby. they often have doll arms adn legs.  maybe they'll have soem that work fo ryou

Thank you everyone! ^.^ Before this I didn't even know Scribbles was worth anything - at first glance I thought she was just some random flutter pony! And thanks to all who made suggestions regarding Cleo's arms.

Very unfortunate indeed. =( Wondering if I can buy any off someone or if the mold idea might be the next best option

funny you found the MH doll with no arms!! lol I actually found my first MH doll the other day too for $1.. all MH goes to 4lindy's daughter tho. I don't collect :-P
