I am terrible at bragging when I get something new in, and my pony purchases are starting to slow down as I cross the more common ponies off my wishlist.. but I wanted to share some of the purchases I've made so far this year:

First and foremost, I recently recieved Skydancer and Starshine, to complete the 1st set of rainbows, a set I really love and adore!

Starry Wings was described as a fixer-upper, and defenitely not for the picky collector (me), but I really wanted this girl and took a chance. Well, all she needed was a good scrub and she is stunning! Her wings are flawless. I love her to pieces.

This year I have discovered merchandise, pamphlets etc, and I have made a good start on a collection. I have also been learning about accessories and given that collection a little boost.

These special girls were in fact purchased last year, but I didn't brag at the time and they do need to be bragged about, I think! Tink-a-too took me ages to find, but one came up on eBay at a great BIN price from a lovely seller and I pounced on her!

So much G1 goodness all in one thread - I don't know where to start, LOL.  Your Rockin' Beat brushes are to die for. I'm sure I don't have even one in my collection yet.  All of your early rainbows look lovely.  The rainbows have become one of my favourite sets over the past few years

I know what you mean with slowing down once the wishlist gets checked off.
I just started recently, got way to exited and managed to cross off most of my lost childhood collection in a few weeks (thanks to awesome sellers on here and a few round and about) Not only that, I also managed to almost complete the entire G4 collection (not all waves of the mane six...) but almost a complete character list.. Im still waiting on a massive lot from UK and I have several small lots still to come. Ive taken a break in buying now untill I get a full count of what I actually got this far!.. LOL
