Pony Luck!!!

They once asked me at local fleamarket why am I coming there almost every day, and leaving with nothing? Well, it does get frustrating when there is nothing, but I wont find ponies if I dont hunt for them! One day my luck will turn.

Arena and ebay

If you want to be assured of getting the ponies you are looking for then those are the best. Everything else really does involve some pony senses and a lot of luck! I dont have enough patience for either

My best pony luck comes from eBay. I haven't found a single pony thing at Goodwill (not that I go there often, but it seems like several people here find ponies there a lot!), and I don't usually go to yardsales. I look for very specific ponies, so eBay is my best shot.

I've actually had the best luck at the thrift store, though I haven't had much luck lately,  the first year I collected, I scored 36 g1 ponies in one go at the thrift store, including my first boy (Wigwam) and some minty so softs, along with bits of pony wear.  A few years later, I found 110 g1 ponies there within a weekend and 104 on the same day, including Nightglider, Lemon Treats, boys and wingers.  Last year, I found Princess Taffeta, Munchy and MO Mommy pony.

That said, lately I've found less and less.  Still, my best luck has been there.

I haven't done eBay yet, though I relinquish to the fact that I will HAVE TO get some of the ponies I want through there.  I work at least 40 hours a week, and don't want to lose a bidding war because I can't stalk the last 10 minutes of an auction

So far, I've really only found G3's, but I've had some luck at Goodwill and a local antique mall.  Only downside is that the prices are kinda all over the place.  I'll pay $1.00 for one and then $5.00 for the next few I find.  I can't complain though.  I got a Butter Pop that way and she was only $1.50!

I have only had luck finding them on ebay. I live in a smaller town and have yet to find any in the thrift stores

My best finds are from thrift stores (Value Village is great for ponies!) and flea markets.

Don't hate me, but I've now found 3 Mimics at flea markets, yard sales, and thrift stores.

And yes, I have one I need to put up for sale once I get around to it.

Generally, pony luck is NOT on my side.   The best (and the only places  ) I have been able to find ponies is here and on ebay.

The Arena is where I got most of my ponies, only because I work 40hrs now and being able to hit yard sales isn't possible (esp. if working on a Saturday). And I can only go to Goodwill when I have the energy and time to go.. so Arena it is
