Will Ditzy Doo be released for the UK PonyCon...?

Just curious if anyone has heard whether or not she will be an exclusive there as well.  I really hope so for the sake of the international collectors.

Man, it's been the HUGEST headache, so no it's not confirmed that she's our "exclusive". We probably won't actually have an exclusive this year. That's why we haven't made any big annoucements yet - we're gutted about it. Hasbro are being such a huge pain in the butt about it, given the MLPFair/SDCC drama (basically the fair wasn't given enough and they gave them all to SDCC instead.) We've been told we can't get her as our exclusive, despite ALWAYS having the Fair pony or our OWN exclusive, if we don't order *10k*. Seriously.

So, we're working on other things. At the moment the con has a limited number of Ditzy Doo ponies that will be available. We normally sell about 70 exclusives at the convention. We have significantly fewer as it stands - as it stands we have no official exclusive as supplied by Hasbro. We are working on it! No promises or guarentees, but we're trying our very best to make the most of a very very unfair/unfortunate situation.

Thats the same post I read elsewhere...I dont understand the 10,000  figure they gave the committee...there is absolutely no way that they produced that volume to sell between the Fair, Comic Con and HTS! There wouldnt have been as much disappointment if they had that kind of tally available. So why would one little UK Con have to buy 40 times the amount the US Fair were allocated - HB are weird!

Personally I think it sounds like they wanted to go big at Comic Con and are not quite as invested in the Fairs as they used to be and which have been involved with them for the last decade or so

Its such a shame for the Con, the committee who have had to deal with this and the Con goers who are not going to be able to get her this year.

I don't know what's wrong with Hasbro and why they're screwing over everyone, especially longtime fans and Fairs. They're even screwing themselves over by not making a halfway reasonable number! I have no idea how they could have found out about Bubblecup's popularity and decided to make her the one and only exclusive without seeing how popular she is. It doesn't make any sense at all.

10k ponies? Are Hasbro absolutely bloody mad? They haven't made probably half that total for the US market! Ugh that is frickin' ridiculous

But I tell you what, if Ponycon could raise the funds to purchase 10k ponies they would be laughing, say you purchased them at $2 per unit (rough guestimate) and sold them even at $15 per unit, that's a profit! They would definitely all sell too, with the mess Hasbroken  sounds like they made at the fair.

I don't have the exclusives but I know alot of people who pride them and love the excitement to collect them, my friend was so proud of her Egyptian one last yeah..

But Hasbro sort it out! Everyone want's Pony normally and an exsclusive.
It's not rocket science, or expensive with your quality control..

It's just so disrespectful of Hasbro . . . Really, would it have been that hard to make 70 more Ditzy Doos to begin with for the UK fair?   We have supported them over the years, not just monetarily but also in celebrating their brand with them.  Saying, "Heck yeah, ponies are awesome!"

I am really upset about their recent treatment of the US MLP Fair and now the UK convention, not just because of getting or not getting grey pegasus exclusives, but because Hasbro suddenly does not seem to give a crap about us, even though we had (or so I thought) built a relationship up with them over the years.
