Many of you know, my Biggest Gripe is Un Marked
Rehairs or Customs in the Nirvana World.
There is nothing worse then buying a Pony and finding out she's had a hair job.

There is a Pony on ebay right now offered by a seller who has sold Rehairs without mentioning they are Rehairs (maybe they don't Know but should)
Argentina Butterscotch with Long Orange Hair
They added information to the auction later
which states she has 3 small stars on the display side cheek like her symbols.

This pony is going to enter the Community soon and some poor buyer is going to think it's a Rare pony.

My first thought when I saw that auction was "rehair". That bright orange was a common color to be used in rehaired Argies.

My first thought too kitkat.
And of course any time you have nice hair but a pony with  issues...Buyer beware.
I wish they had posted pictures of the stars on the cheeks, maybe the original owners way of marking this pony as a rehair or custom.
So frustrating when they are going out into the Community as Rare and HTF, misrepresented to new collectors who think it is rare and HTF

I don't trust the seller period. She's the same one who was selling a reheaded Macau snuzzledrop.

That's  one of the ponies and I know for certain she was aware of the fact, because I sent her a message through ebay and I am sure I was not the only one.  The pony was never removed from the Auction or a note added to the auction so buyers would be aware of what they were actually getting.

rehair, there should be some way to notify ebay that it's being sold as something more valuable than it really is. It's practically a scam

I so agree Marian.  But all the seller has to do is play the part of "Not Knowing" what they are selling even though this seller seems to have handled these sorts of ponies before.  There was one bid on the pony  which has now been retracted.  Maybe we will get lucky and the Pony will stay out of the Cycle of unmarked rehairs / Customs in the Community but I doubt it.  Sooner or later someone  will buy thinking they have a Rare and HTF pony

I thought I recognised the sellers name from somewhere.

The pony is a rehair :)

Well, there is now another party bidding on the Pony.
Looks like someone who has bought from the seller before

I don't see any stars on her checks (?) is that what the seller said?

She looks pretty in that colour but definitely a rehair.

There is a note to that effect which was added after the auction was listed.

"On May-31-13 at 18:54:53 PDT, seller added the following information:
She also has 3 tiny stars like her symbols on her display side cheek."

I can't see the stars either on the picture

Lets hope the bidders realise the pony is rehaired.

well Shelti you can say you tried... dunno = honestly for me I would've been fine with $35 for a "custom" as I like her overall condition (so that's a shout out to anyone who has an otherwise good condition argie butterscotch with a butchered haircut I will be happy to take her off your hands and rehair her = AND mark it as such!)  But the dang auction is now over $70 - geesh peeps - I am amazed that that seller has that kind of fanatic following

ah well ...

Yikes, this is discouraging to learn as I buy ponies from this seller all of the time. :(  Nothing rare, so perhaps I don't need to worry (Windy Wings Whirly, Cloud Pull, baby toe dancer, baby noddins, majesty etc.).

Despite the fact that I have yet to be disappointed, I am going to have to resist buying from her again just based on principle alone.... I've been eyeing that Italian Heart Throb too.  :(  I think she is a very popular seller because what you see is what you get.  I am a VERY PICKY collector and would say that I end up reselling probably over 80% of the ponies I buy as they don't end up meeting my standards. >_<

I would feel very deceived if I paid big money for what I believed to be a nirvana variant only to learn otherwise!  I think it's good that you are putting the word out there about this argie.  This situation just reinforces our need to be informed consumers.  :ohyeah:
