Pokemon X & Y

This game looks amazing! The only thing I don't like are the 'super' modes some of the Pokemon get- feels like those silly powerups characters get in some anime, and what will it do with regular evolutions of certian types of Pokemon who really need them? And does Mewtwo- 'the most powerful Pokemon of all' (Pokemon the first movie refere)nce- really need a powerup? :/ Also, temporay power-ups are starting to make Pokemon feel more like it's rival, digimon.  New Pokemon and character customization look awesome, though.

I agree. The designs of the new mega evolutions interest me as far as art work goes, but as far as game mechanics go I'm not sure I like the idea. Plus, Mewtwo's one form looks.... weird. And it doesn't make me think 'most powerful pokemon'.

I'm very excited for the games, but I'm disappointed about Chespin's and Fennekin's last evolutions. (if they're not fake, which I hope they are)

Especially Fennekin's. I was expecting a cool four legged fox, perhaps a little similar to Ninetales, not this witch thing. :/ And Chespin's doesn't look like it's pre evolutions and definetly not like a fighting type, more like a steel type.

I'll choose Froakie as my starter. I like both it's evolutions.

I'm not very excited for the mega evolutions, but I don't dislike them either.

I dont have much of an opinion on froakie or chespin's final evo, but..
I love fennekin's final evo. It has a different body shape, which I really like. I'm glad they managed to give it such a cool silhouette and not just a lucario or ninetails clone :--)

I just got a shiny bulbasaur from a friend to transfer to X when I get it! I wonder if we'll have to finish the game before transferring pokemon from previous games again 

Annyyways.. Less than 24 hours here!! I'm so excited!!

Ugh, I'm so excited but no 3DS and it'll stay that way for a while... so whilst everyone's enjoying their X and Y I'm gonna be stuck with Diamond/Pearl and Black/White... not that it's a bad thing mind you, I love DP and BW but I really want XY.

I literally bought a 3DS XL so I could get Pokemon X x_x I got the blue Pokemon one :3 luckily a KMart was closing near me and had it on sale! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Apparently I managed to preorder from the only Gamestop on the planet that doesn't do midnight releases. All my friends are getting their copies tonight but I have to set my alarm to get mine at 9 AM tomorrow. Ugh.

I was lucky and live near one of the two gamestop locations in wisconsin who do the midnight releases.
I'm afraid it's gonna be SUPER crowded so we're leaving at 11 (20 minutes!!)

That's what mine is doing too. There are gonna be a lot of 20 somethings hovering awkwardly around the tiny mall I preordered at. And I will be proud to be one of them.

Squeeeeeee picking up my copy of X @gamestop!! Eeeeek I am SO excited!! I got the Jack Skellington figure with the glow in the dark poster a few days ago, they were also giving away X and Y posters!! I got two!! They are giving away all kinds of X and Y display stuff...I hope I get something cool!! I am at work right nlw @ walmart- they SOLD OUT of X and Y in under half an hour!!! :O
