Question About Baby Misty
« on: September 27, 2015, 01:48:31 PM »
I have a Baby Seapony Misty, and he hair is completely trashed.  It looks like dreadlocks, and the more I work at it/look at it, I don't think there will be any way to comb out her dreads.  The hair is almost bonded together??

I just want to be sure she's not terribly rare, because I wanted to give her some new hair and use her for a cute project.

I won't be doing any changes or harm to her body.  At least that part of her is in pretty good shape.

(also, haven't decided on a hair color yet, if anyone wanted to add some input on that..... )

The watercolor babies are a bit harder to find but not extremely rare. Their hair is prone to matting, and if it were in good shape it would have been a whole different case. But If her hair is beyond salvaging anyway I see no reason why you couldn't give her a new do. :)

As Mirn says, she is neither super hard to find and nor is this uncommon for her hair. The hair breaks down and becomes cottony over the years. I think if its in very poor condition, there is no harm in restyling her to suit your preference :)

Go for it! And don't forget to show pictures of her when your done. I'm sure she'll look great with a sleek, new mane
