Cotton Candy Blizzard

The Cotton Candy Blizzard was my fav from DQ. They have discontinued the flavor and have no plans to bring it back... So says The CEO. 
I have searched for 6 years to find the stuff that goes in it. Today I found the candy mix in it! I cant believe it! I know Im a dork! But I cant wait to get them! I was jumping up and down when I found them. I can only buy the stuff in 10 pound bags which comes out more than 50 dollars per order  I have suckered my hubby into getting me some. I have experimented with a lot of syrups to get the right flavors. I think I have found the solution. The Manager at my local DQ thinks I will never get it right, she actually trys all my creations I bring there for her to make. she has offered my free ice cream for a month if I can get it right, I cant wait to get my candy!!!

Thank god you posted that little question as well, I had no idea what you were talking about :p I already thought of some lemonade or something. And then of course a cotton candy blizzard, an actual one popped up in my head.

As for the ice cream, we normally don't have all those funky flavours around here, just regular vanilla/pistachio and others. We do get the ben and jerry ones but those are way to pricey for my budget. I'd rather get some nice lemon/mango/melon sorbet box from the store

As today is DQ's Miracle Treat Day, I think this is an awesome post.  I now really REALLY want a blizzard, and if you buy one today, they donate to children's hospitals    I'm making my husband get me one!  The weirdest flavor ice cream I've tried is green tea, and it's not really that uncommon.  But I think it tastes like grass.

I've never had their cotton candy flavored!  I do remember when I was little bitty, they used to have Nerds Blizzards that were *awesome*!  Something about the sweet/tartness of the Nerds and the cold of the ice cream made it absolutely delicious!  I don't know if certain locations still offer Nerds and, fortunately for me, it's pretty easy to go to the store and just buy some of those when I feel like having Nerd-y ice cream, but it is weird how the cycle through toppings.

Good luck. There isn't a DQ near me.    Trust me my friend and I have mourned this fact.

As for flavors. Weirdest was peppermint crunch swirl. It was a holiday release last year. Bleh, to much peppermint.

Favorite flavor is Baskin Robbins chocolate peanut butter. They have the best cpb.

I hope I get it right too. To me it was the most amazing blizzard they had  they just kicked it to the curb and stomped on it
The weirdest Icecream I ever ate was red pepper with rasberrys... It was different.. Differently gross.

OMG! I loooooove ice cream. I am lactose intolerant but I take those lactaid pills. Vanilla has to by my all time favorite but I also love Moose Lake Fudge by Kemps and Vanilla Chocolate Swirl by Blue Bunny.. I anxiously await the Blizzard of the month flavors. I hate it when they have a flavor that is already up on the board. I think some of my favs have been Brownie Batter, Golden Strawberry Oreo and Candy Cane. MMMMM ice cream!
