Disappointed. Absolutely nothing to do with a 30th anniversary. The glitter everywhere just looks tacky.
Does anyone see extra crystals in the glasses lens? I don't think it makes it look any better though.
Honestly, light-up box seems kinda... gimmicky to me. It's kinda cool, but I would much rather the box actually have something to do with music or DJing or a more elaborate display instead of this.
Although I like Fashion Style sized ponies, all these things plus the price-tag make it seem a no-no for me this year.

Rumors flying around that an add-on playset to the High School set is showing up in Australian Targets, $59. It apparently features a DJ studio and tennis court. Will post back when pic is available if it doesn't show up here.
Music Festival has also been spotted at local Kmarts.

Will someone confirm my math for me? 
If a person wanted to update their older boys with new jointed wrists, they would need to buy 2 Deuce packs, 2 Clawd packs, 1 Jackson (if they ever become available  ) and 1 Holt (Ditto on availability) Am I missing anything? Holt has not been given articulated wrists. I was told by Mattel Australia a few months ago that he would be getting a rerelease sometime this year but he will still not have articulated wrists (which makes me wonder if they'll just be putting out some leftover stock of his original signature release or something).
They had a LOT of Holts leftover when I went to one of their sales last year, the latter would make sense.

Out of curiosity, was the producer Hunter Toys and Leisure by any chance?
That sounds about right, I'm pretty sure the name was something like Hunter, curse this memory! If I see them again I'll double check the producer.
I'm not surprised at the price tag though, ponies are often double the price or more in Australia compared to America.
They made the plushes for the MLP showbags, they were of... similar quality, so it would make sense. I have a few of those ones, they suffer from silly duckfaces that Rarity has too

I really like Una, but how will that liquid in her stand the test of time? Also somebody on this thread said that their Una started to leak. So I am wondering about the quality. Are they good quality or not?
It's a suspected small leak that began when I took one of the doll's shoes off. Hopefully the shoe will plug the leak, but I have no idea what to do if all the liquid slowly drains out. As to how it happened, I have no idea other than the glue used to keep the legs together... maybe it broke off onto the shoe? I can feel it on her other leg and it doesn't seem the best of quality. Hmm.

So after a failed video games shop I popped into Kmart and found Swim dolls today. I picked up a Lagoona and a Venus.
Venus is staying in her box for a while, as I was iffy on buying her, though I'm growing fond. I wish they'd put her in a tad more creative hairstyle though @_@ love the suit and the glasses though.
Lagoona is stunning - one of the nicest Lagoonas for some time. At first the two-tone blue looked odd to me but it's actually pretty cool!
I'm tempted to get a LaLa to have the complete set, as her vibrant pink colors are nice in person. Unsure yet though.
I wish they came with stands, but I'm not complaining as one retailer dropping the price down to $16 is nice. A lot more on par with US prices now.

Sorry, no pictures. My camera broke just last week actually @_@ but it may have been gone for longer.
Swim Dolls starting to be stocked now. TRU have them on sale for $17.99 (down from $22.99). Kmart have begun to stock them for the great regular price of $16!
Those wondering about the variants, you may be out of luck (again) - all the dolls I saw featured Draculaura with her fangs and Venus with the pale pink lips and green eyeshadow. If anyone else spots them though feel free to post.

Two words, Summer Reset, most chains are either just starting of finishing their summer resets and are awaiting the stock that go with those changes.
Except here, it is autumn... and there always seems to be a steadier flow of stock during the spring months than this.

Oh, that's what I forgot to ask. I picked up Clawdeen's bunk bed (no doll) at a doll sale for $15. It has all the blankets as well as some small accessories (razors, drink, straightener) inside a little cupboard. I was wondering if the set came with pillows?
