Trying to Resist: Disney Descendants XD

  The Descendants are popping up in my local stores and I keep finding myself picking them up even though I told myself that I would NOT start another line right now!! Daughter of Mulan especially keeps tempting me. I'm not terribly keen on the fashions, though. I think this is part of what's keeping me from actually putting them into my shopping cart.

  This coupled with the fact that I am a sucker for MIB dolls and the packaging on these dolls is plain stupid. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to make the boxes wider at the top than the bottom was a goob. Trying to look through them at the store is maddening!!!

  But, I know me, I'll have to get my hands on one to customize sooner or later. Might wait until they start showing up secondhand in my local thrifts or try to trade for one..

Anyone have one of these dollies yet? I'd love to hear what people think of them outside the box.

I think they're gorgeous.  But even so, I think I can wait a few months when the prices drop.

They haven't shown up here yet, but I'm glad to hear that the packaging is dumb...that might keep me from buying one, lol!

Yeah I saw some of the coronation dolls today and Sleeping Beauty's daughter jumped out at me.  I am a big SB collector and she may need to join my collection, not like I need another collection.

The dolls seem much better than the movie (show?). I really like their faces. I wish EAH dolls had that much personality.

They are on pre ordered on TRU's website. Due to come out on 9/23.

MY nephew brought home an Evie yesterday and she is soooo gorgeous. I am tempted to go out an get one mysel.
