I noticed he was sold out online as well! I'm concerned that he actually did sell out! I'm going to the store tomorrow after I get out of work at 6.... hopefully they still have one left for me!

I called my local store tonight just to see if he would be available tomorrow, and the lady on the phone said yes so here is hoping. I'm going to try and get there in the morning before work.

Wait... what? *goes to check BAB's site* Huh. Ok. Let's not panic. It's probably just a glitch. The email DID say that he was available online today. But I can't believe that they sell out in less than 24 hours.

ThatGuyKenai and I have already made plans to go to BABW on Sat morning. I'm sure they'll have enough to last until then.

For those who have seen Toothless in person (since it sounds like some stores have one on display), is he minky fabric? If you don't know what minky is, it's that soft, slightly fuzzy fabric the ponies are made of.
I've been kinda debating getting him but if he's going to be a hot seller, might as well anyway to avoid regret if I can even make it out there this weekend.

I just checked BABW's site and I can't find Toothless at all! There's a big ad for him on the home page, but the plush seems to be gone! Now I'm getting nervous.....

Ok, Toothless is back up on the site. I'm still nervous that he's not going too long.

I stopped in at BABW shortly after they opened and look who I found!     I also scored a copy of Defenders of Berk Part 2 early because FYE put a copy of it out, misreading it as Part 1 (apparently its streat date isn't until next week). Also found some of the new mystery mini figs at Hot Topic today, so over all it was a very dragon filled morning

Also, in what I think is a neat feature, Toothless's wings can actually be detached, so you can dress him in what ever outfits you want When I left the mall I walked back by and saw four other people all building Toothless, so I think he will be a popular sell, but they had LOTS of him in stock this morning at my location.

Eeeep. I'm on the fence about him, but as I've of yet been unable to find Scootaloo in stores I might have to order him online or buy him unstuffed when I'm on holiday  (and, it doesn't surprise me with the UK date. BAB are usually very good about keeping the US and UK dates the same or very close so I'll bet people have assumed the date would be the same.)

That is so awesome that his wings can come off! I know they did that with the zodiac dragon that they made for the year of the dragon. But I wasn't expecting them to do that for Toothless. I forsee a lot of those wings getting lost.
