Have you ever lucked out on Craigslist/Kijiji?

i have no idea what kijiji is LOL, and almost nothing ever on my local craiglist

I went threw it right now and its all the same things. Some of them are ones that I asked about and never heard back. And they are all G3 ponies and ponyville ones.

Nothing, sadly. . .  I've had much better luck here, eBay and thrift stores.

I got 5 G1s from Craigslist last week and I just contacted someone tonight about an ad for a G1 tent.  There are always tons of G3s in my area but none that are super rare so I typically pass those up.

I've never found ponies in Craigslist actually. Now I'm too afraid to look. Someone in the area has been calling adds, meeting people and then robbing them.

  That's awful! Yeesh, I thought the problems with people getting hurt from Craigslist were over.

nope still going multiple robberies. I guess I'll stick with thrift stored

We dont have things like to the same scale as you guys have in the US so I have never ever found anything through any gumtree/preloved/classifieds searching - maybe one day

I have yet to have luck on CL. There was a large lot with several Fairy Tail birds in it as well for 45$ a year ago but someone beat me to it.

For the most part people either overprice their G3's and Ponyville or already know what they have and price them individually .

I did find a huge lot of 200 ponies and the seller was willing to ship them all for 50$ but she took one huge group shot of them and I could barely see them. At the time money was tight and I just couldn't justify buying the group without knowing what condition they were in. All I remember is that Edgar was in there as well as a SS Twilight.

I have yet to find my EPIC find so to say but I keep hunting. Money has been super tight again so I have not been out looking for almost 3 weeks now

I've had two good loots from Gumtree, One from an arena member, and another from a past collector who was giving them up. Both lots turned out to have some real gems, and I'm super glad I bought them! So far there's only been one massive 'one that got away'.. a TP member got it and posted the brag - my gosh I was mad at my hubby for not taking me to pick them up, there were mountain boys with accessories in there!

I got a lot of about 25 ponies for $20. There were 2 Hollywoods and 4 of the pearly babies, all of whom I sold on here =)

Nope, none. No CL finds, Goodwill finds, yard sale finds. This area's pony dry, which is weird as it's the state capital.

Never had any luck. The only times I found ads that weren't for G3 ponies were gone or fake. >.<

Speaking of CL ads, I have a few pony things posted on my local CL and got no offers so I guess it all depends on the area and who's looking >.<
