« on: December 18, 2014, 06:19:29 AM »
I checked Sports Authority just to look at prices and try one on so I know what size to look for.  I think I can fit into an XL but I had a fleece shirt on and above that my McDonald's uniform shirt so I think it felt snug because of the extras.

Anyway, their price is $99.  I asked about any after Christmas sales on those and he told me no.  He said they usually have tons and the price usually stays the same.

Do you guys think that's a good price?

That sounds like a good price to me :)  Was it the plain fleece style or the one with the kind waterproof fabric on the shoulders, chest, and sleeves?

Check the clearance section section on their website. My brother bought a jacket on there for pretty cheap. I bought my black Denali style fleece from a sale at a local sport store near where I work. It had a spot on the sleeve (I think it was just a dirty spot because I washed it and couldn't see it anymore!). I bought it for $80. So be on the look out for local store sales. I bought mine in the summer so that probably helped haha!

I have a pair of the Bailey Button ones and I love them! They are super comfy and warm. I only wear them in fall/spring and never when it rains or snows! Mine look brand new as I used the sealer spray on them and keep them dry :) They are absolutely worth the money! I got mine as a Christmas gift from my parents xD I have a friend who has the cardigan pair and says they are comfy but nearly as warm as the regular sheepskin ones :)

I live 45 minutes away from IKEA :( My brother just moved and has one 5mins from where he lives. I imagine shipping would be pretty high for it. Good luck, looks to be a cool lamp :)

I tuck my blanket into the end of my bed under the mattress so it can't slide anywhere. I don't use a flat sheet but I imagine you could do it with that as well. I have a queen size bed so not sure if that at matters xD

I just got back from shopping. My brother and I went out at about 4pm to get in line at Target. I bought the 40" TV they had as a doorbuster for $119. I also got about 10 Blu rays/dvds. Went to Walmart afterwards and got a movie for my parents and three other movies for me xD My brother was excited to get a Pyrex set at Walmart haha!

Ebay :)  My mom has bought bulk packs of like 50. I think they were pretty reasonably priced :)

I live in the USA so not sure how different it is there. I recommend buying your books in advance. Perhaps a few months before hand. Gives you a chance to skim through them and also you can often get a cheaper price on Ebay and such. I have saved a ton of money using that method. This semester I spent just under $50 on my books while many of my classmates have spent over $200 on the same books!

I go to the library :)  Much less distractions there especially if you bring headphones. I also reward myself by browsing the Internet for a few minutes or doing something fun :)  Good luck!

I saw it last Tuesday :) I liked it more than the book but not as much as Catching Fire! I think it needed more action haha! I was definitely at the edge of my seat near the end as I was worried they would end it at a true cliffhanger spot. Can't wait for next November haha!

Off Topic / Re: waterproof bed sheets?
« on: November 23, 2014, 02:55:23 PM »
I have a cat that periodically does this as well xD For a while I was using one of those painters drop clothes to cover my bed when not in use. My parents still cover their bed. They took two flat waterproof sheets and sewed them together (they have a king size bed). And then they lay it on the bed when not in use. Much more comfortable and easier to clean than just having the sheet and still having to wash the comforter/sheets etc.
