Well I haven't done a brag post yet, but what better way to start than with my collection!

Ok, first the G1 herd!

I know, it's very small, but still lovable! Glow, Dancing Butterflies, and Spring Song were from my childhood (given to me by my grandma through yard sales a LONG time ago). I didn't really play with them because I thought they were old and ugly (they were mixed in with about 20 REALLY ugly fakies), but I did play with Glow! They sat in my basement for over 10 years until I uncovered them about a few months ago! Once I cleaned them up they became beautiful!!

 I found Parasail in my grandma's basement, along with some other g1's. I decided to only keep Parasail because she cleaned up really nice and the majority of them either smelled horrible or didn't clean up at all. I'm going to return the rest to her basement for my 2 yr old cousin to play with because she loves MLP!

The others (Bubbles, baby Bouncy, baby Shaggy and baby Sleeptight) I got at MLP Fair! My favorite is Bubbles!

Yup, there's a lot of them! They are me and my sisters' childhood ponies! I'm not even sure which ones were mine lol! But I did have fun with them! My first was Butterscotch, my childhood favorite was Thistle Whistle (the one with REALLY short hair and mold growing inside of it lol), and my favorite now is Sunrise Song!
I did get all of the babies at MLP Fair though!


I store them in this bin under my bed beacuse I have no room to display them.

Thanks!  And, yes she does have very pink hair! I guess that's because she's lived in a VERY dark basement for over 10 years. I hope it doesn't fade! Idk if I should even display her. Do they fade easily if not in direct sunlight?

The rejected ones are Shoreline, Curly Locks, and a birth flower April. They are currently at my house. The birth flower one has pink highlighter or something all over it. She used to be covered in mud or dirt, but that came off. Curly Locks is OK, but she doesn't work. And Shoreline has extreme tail rust that I do not feel like cleaning after what I went through with Spring Song... Keep in mind my grandma oringinally bought these for me at yard sales and they never got "cleaned up". Some other ones I found were Dainty and TAF Sundance, but I gave them to my lil sis (don't worry, she is 10).

The ones in her basement right now are 2 big styling g3 Rarity's and a green carousel g1 pony that rattles. And also quite a few fakies.

And don't worry about my cousin, she is almost 3 and very gentle with her toys. When she is at my grandma's house she likes to play ponies. She pretends the giant g3 rarity is the mom, and the other g1's are the babies. It's really very cute and I don't want to take all of her "babies" away from her. So I will be returning them styled and beautiful for her!

My grandma's basement is like the playroom, it's filled with 70's and 80's toys along with toys from present day. The 70's toys were my aunt's and mom's though.

Well I'm glad she's good to them. Maybe she'll grow up to love G1's and keep their legacy going. I bet the Birthflower pony had a pink saddle or accessory for a long time.

Wow, you have a heap of G3s and G4s in your collection!  It's cool that the G1s are from when you were younger, and even better that Glow still has pretty pink hair.  Thanks for sharing

Thanks so much for sharing, it is a very nice collection.  As to those ponies with too much basement smell you can put them in a baggie with either baking soda or dryer sheets and that will help descent them.
