The Dollhouse / What do you love?« on: September 01, 2013, 04:04:06 PM »
I'm curious to what types of dolls everyone collects?
I collect BJDs, Vintage barbies, 80's barbies, pedigree and hasbro Sindys, and Bratz. I'm very tempted to start collecting Lady Lovely Locks as well. So tell (or show) us what you love! 3

Off Topic / Children's Winter Swap! Boxes Arriving!« on: October 26, 2012, 03:18:03 PM »Children love receiving presents! Children love making new friends! MLP Arena's Annual Children's Holiday Toy Swap! This swap is designed for children of Arena members. Ideal ages of children are between 3 and 10 years old, boys and girls. A little younger or a little older is fine as long as they are interested in participating. There will be 2 levels to choose from as long as there is enough interest for each level, $10 or $15. This swap is not exclusive to ponies. They can choose any toy within their swap level! Winter swap dates Winter swap rules Please make sure you completely read through the Winter swap rules and dates and send a pm to the holiday swap account with the below info once you have your references in. In your pm please include the following, and have the subject as children's swap sign up: Child's Age: Child's Name: Boy or Girl: Swap Level: $ Can you ship International? Parent's Arena Name: Parent's Name: Address for shipping: Approval and your child's swap partner information will be pm'ed to you no later than November 7th. We will be pairing children up so that they can make a connection together. It will be done by age and gender, and interests when possible. Children's Wishlists need to be posted on this thread by November 7th so please start thinking now what your child might like or if you want to get an early start, post it now. If you have a solid 7 references there should be no problem. Wishlists should include at least 10 toys that your child would like. It doesn't have to be ponies but all ponies is fine too. Please make sure what you're asking for is not over the swap limit you're signed up for. Please list any food allergies your child has that may be relevant. And also any special treats, snack, goodies they like. Please don't change your child's wishlist after names have been given out! This is very important. If you need to note something, make it clear that you are only adding onto your post, not deleting or changing anything. Shipping Deadlines: Packages need to be shipped no later than December 10th for International and December 14th-18th for Domestic. International shipping must be by airmail. Please hang onto your shipping receipt until you are sure your gift has been received. Packages must be gift wrapped. If you are sending a pony please make sure you don't wrap it in colored tissue paper or newspaper. If you want to use colored tissue paper for decoration purposes that is okay as long as it is not touching the ponies. Wrapping material does NOT count towards swap level amounts. Children are required to create a card. This has been a big hit in the last childrens swaps. So, get out those crayons, etc! Extra goodies: No scrooges allowed! Please also include some extra goodies that are age appropriate like stickers, pencils, erasers, small notebooks, etc. Don't forget the candy! Note: these are extras, not included in the swap amount level. Please don't feel like you have to spend a ton of money on extras, just something little and fun or yummy to eat is great. *Your child's name will not be publicly posted. The only person that will have your child's info is myself and their swap partner. If you don't want your child's gift addressed to them, please make sure to note it on your wishlist post. I hope we get a lot of children signed up. If you're short a reference, you should still apply. I'm sure we can come up with something. Most importantly I want this to be something fun for your child in both giving and receiving. Pony Corral / *game show voice* Name that G2!« on: August 12, 2012, 04:35:05 PM »
Time for a little game!
It's nice and easy to play, just name the G2 that is posted above you. Then post another picture of a different G2. And extra cookies to those that can name them from memory If you would like to, you can name what year and set they are from too. So I'll start with a easy-ish one. visitors can't see pics , please register or login And please remember to resize your pictures http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,304896.0.html 15
Pony Corral / Cancer/mold/regrind discussion« on: July 13, 2012, 01:56:01 AM »
This was such a helpful thread on the archived Arena, so I'm starting this up again. Please feel free to discuss any and all aspects, new treatments, any side effects ect.
Huge thanks to Nina85 for putting this all together: Updated 7/10/2008 EDIT: This thread is a work in progress. Please contribute your two cents so we can figure this all out together. visitors can't see pics , please register or login I've noticed more and more people are having issues with mysterious problems popping up on their ponies recently. And I, for one, am totally confused by it all. I know there are others who are as well. I have ponies with mold issues, ponies with cancer issues, and ponies with regrind issues. My idea here is to keep this post updated regularly with pictures and examples of all kinds of unstoppable pony problems. That way it is clear, and everyone can easily identify what their pony issue is and see what can (or can't) be done about it. I think it would also be good to list who is more prone to these types of issues, and what can be done to prevent the spread of these issues as well. If you have clear pictures, or can explain these problems in a concise way, post them here and I will update this first post. Or, if you have questions yourself, post them, and maybe we can all help each other get them answered. Here are some starter example pictures of a few ponies I have with issues.
