I didn't see Lapras at all during this event. I actually didnt see very many ice types, tbh. That would've been incredibly disappointing if I needed them.

I'm still a little upset that Cyndaquil and Chikorita were so plentiful during the respective events, but it was like Totodile didn't exist during the water event (at least around here). And we already never see Totodile around here anyway.

Also, it looks like the gyms are already looking different. Still under construction of course, but I'm excited about them revamping them!

That giant Charmander.

Yay Duenia!

Even though the gyms are disabled right now, I'm still getting coins for the gym I've been in since about 2 weeks ago. Awesome!

3/5 for Friday. I walked a lot, but I had a Mary Kay party and ended up snacking on some not-so-healthy foods. I was also at an amusement park in the morning/afternoon and didn't eat well, haha.

4/5 for Saturday.

5/5 for yesterday. I went to the gym with my friend. I started week 3 of the Couch to 5k app. I ran for 3 minutes straight and didnt get winded! I love that app.

Oh, btw. I GOT THE JOB!  :yippee: I start next week, and I get to keep my current job as well. I'm just going to change my schedule and maybe work less hours as a tutor.

I think I figured out why the event's in Chicago today...... ChicaGO. I don't know if it's just my pun obsession, but it feels to me like that's the reason...

Got my Houndoom today, so I'm done with the event. I do need to walk around some more to hatch eggs, though.

For Tuesday, I give myself a 4/5. I did pretty good, but then I ate a ton of popcorn and some other snacks when we went to see Wonder Woman. I also drank some pop...there's this new Pepsi out, Pepsi Fire, and I just had to try it.

I give yesterday a 5/5. I didn't hit my step goal (I was at 11,567/12,000 before bed) but I did so well with everything else! I went to the gym for the third morning in a row and all of the food I ate was healthy. I even made a fruit pizza for dessert that turned out super good.

I have more to add to the "Renia is really trying to get a new job" saga. I went in for a second interview today with a company that needs and office assistant for up to 30 hours a week. I was told that I got one of the highest scores they've ever seen on the Microsoft Excel aptitude test and that it's down to me and one other person for the position. I'll know tomorrow afternoon if I got the job or not... and if I get it, I start Monday! Now yes, I have a job right now as an Introduction into Information Technology tutor at the local community college, but it's only 18 hours a week and doesn't pay very much. It isn't bad, just not what I'd like. So, *if* I get this new job, I can still work my current job! I'd just have to change my hours, and my boss is flexible about that so it should work! I'm so excited! This seems like it might be the one! :frolic:

That's some great news about your nephew, Pokeyonekenobie!

I've also moved away from ponies a bit (mostly because nothing has been new and my pony room is pretty unorganized at the moment).

I collect:
-Anything Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, One Piece, Kirby, Pokemon, Eeyore
-Misc. video game merch
-Tokidoki Unicornos
-Funko POP! figures
-Nendoroid figures
-Beanie Boos
-Anything with unicorns
-Zelfs
-Num Noms
-Workout headbands. This one sounds silly, I know, but I think I can consider this a collection since I have about 20 different ones. I always have a different one to wear when I workout, haha.
-Squishables. This is my newest collection. I went from one Squishable plush to about... 6 or 7 now. They're huge and take up all the space but it's worth it.
-Purses/handbags. Also a silly one, but I've lost count of the different ones I have. I especially love weird and quirky ones...like, I just ordered a crossbody purse that's in the shape of a hamburger with fries on the side.
-Leggings. Yes, this definitely counts as a collection because I own over 40 pairs. Mostly Lularoe, but I'm good with anything that fits. I wear leggings all year round and the wackier the print, the better.

No advice since I haven't been to Japan yet, but I might have to hit you up for some goodies. I hope you have an awesome time!

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Big Pokemon News???

So a Pokemon game has been announced for the Switch! It should be good, whatever it is. Honestly, I was impressed with most of what Nintendo had to offer at E3 this year. They announced so many things I'm looking forward to on the Switch!

HeartGold is such a great game that I don't feel it's necessary to go back to Gold or Diamond either. Especially since I've gotten so used to the modern games! Every new Pokemon game improves basic functions and makes everything more fluid than the game before it, so it'd be really jarring to go all the way back to gen 2...That's why I didn't go for the digital copy of Red/Blue/Yellow.

I guess it's good that I'm not interested, though. It gives me time to mess with the older games :)

That's pretty much how I feel, but clearly there's an audience for the older games since they did it with gen 1 and now gen 2. I just personally can't see myself enjoying Silver when I know I could play SoulSilver. ^^; Like... I might buy Silver for the sake of nostalgia, because it was the first time I had gone through a Pokemon game and beat it, but I won't be surprised if I don't finish it this time.

I just need a few more Houndour and I'll be done! I got Typhlosion this morning. :)

I think that the Go Event is ticketed, so if you want to go, check that out!

Yeah, I think they'll have more info on the tickets in the next few days.

That's awesome, TornadoTwist! :iconclap:

I'm still debating if I want to collect this series. I have every single card from the last 3 series and am very proud of that collection, but I don't know if I want to do it again. The fan submitted cards are really awesome though, and might draw me in.

Congrats Crowing_Glory13!

@heathersmoo: Here's the caricature I was talking about! My husband was wearing a Steven Universe shirt, hence the name.

I give yesterday a 5/5! My dinner wasn't the healthiest, but it wasn't that bad either. Other than that, everything went really well and I was even able to sleep for a full 6 /12 hours (that seems to be my limit) last night.

Adam West seemed like such an awesome man. I wanted to meet him at Steel City Con a few months back, but I was busy that weekend and didn't get to go. I remember them saying that Steel City Con would be his last (or at least one of his last) public appearances at a convention, and my guess is that this was due to his illness. Such a shame.

88 is still a very long time to be on this Earth, so while it's sad that he has passed, at least he lived a long, full life.

His portrayal of Batman will always be iconic, and I'm gonna be the weirdo that says I loved him as Mayor Adam West on Family Guy, not to mention the countless other characters he voiced on different shows throughout the years. He will be missed.

Hopefully you'll be able to, Snapdragon!

I'm looking forward to more Cyndaquil and Houndour. Oddly enough, Cyndaquil has been popping up a lot for me lately.

That would be cool, especially if you were already planning to go and you live somewhat close. I wonder what it'll be like -- whether people's lofty predictions of legendaries will prove true or whether it will be some other type of special event.

Yeah, I'm not too far. We've driven to Chicago twice before, and I checked train schedules and it seems like we'd be leaving late at night and get there early the next morning, which is great. We wanted to take a short weekend trip this summer since I'm interviewing for a new job and I don't want to take a full blown vacation just in case I manage to land something, plus I don't want to take off any extra time at my current job just in case. A quick trip to Chicago would be perfect.

I'm really hoping we'll see the legendaries this summer. I need Lugia in my life, or at the very least, Zapdos.

I can post it when I get home. :) The picture is of me and my husband, actually. Ooooh, but one day I want to have a portrait done of us and our ferrets and hang it up in our living room.

Today has already been off to a great start. I went to the gym this morning and played Just Dance for a half an hour after. I had a spinach smoothie for breakfast and I stopped at Subway to pick up a wrap for lunch. Assuming my dinner will be on point, I feel like I'm already on track for a perfect day!
