It's Halloween time which means 'tis the season for black cats! Show me your black cats!!! :)
Here's one of mine. This is Severus and the sorting hat. He usually hates having his picture taken. I'll try to get a pic of Poe soon...

Aww, what a handsome boy!

I need  to dig up a decent picture of my little shadow-kitty... Black cats are hard to photograph with a phone.

Lots of black cats in my life! There was one in the household when I was born, a black and white named Ninja. Then when I was about 11 we had an all black cat named Miss Kitty.

When I was in vet school I also had two - Tom and Sable, and they were adopted out.

I'm sure I have pics somewhere of the last two, but too much trouble to go searching for them. For some reason the black cats were always the sweetest. They had the best personalities.

My first pet, was a black cat, she has passed on, but she was my baby. Her name was Dinah, I named her after the cat in Disney's Alice and Wonderland.  My second cat who is now a very old boy was Fella, because he was the only black cat in the whole litter, and he was just "a little fella" so that is how he ended up with the name Fella.

 This is Dinah in her last year, this was the one and only time she had EVER laid in the sink.  She was a very small cat, very short and she had the typical female belly that sagged a bit. She also only had half of a tail. She was born with a bob tail.

I don't have a picture of Fella on my laptop :\

i think alot of black cats get left in shelters as people like other colours more an people think they are bad luck , i know stupid huh ! >_<  the next cats i get will be from a shelter not a breeder ! and i will get a black one !

We don't have any black cats. My Kyo is orange and hubby's Domino and Suzi are both Tortoiseshell. They are mostly black, but not actually black.

LOVE ALL OF THE KITTIES!!!  :hearts:

I am always amused at cats in boxes/baskets/sinks. It just never gets old. And I LOVE the name 'ninja' for a black cat.

We got our two from the shelter last year, they both had super sweet personalities. If our cats ever pass on I think we will adopt more black cats, I am just so sold on them.

Here is Miss Poe (she came with her name). Our cats have such a rough life. ;)

I love black cats! I used to have one but he got out while I was away at training and a year and a half later I found him living up the street with a new family. He seemed happy so I let him be, I miss him but he's healthy and happy so I had to let him go.
