There's no real set value of cards unless they are from newer sets...

Best bet is eBay past auctions or Troll & Toad for some kind of estimate.
You might want to bundle commons, energies and common trainers because otherwise you'll probably lose out on fees considering how low they go.

I don't have any energy or trainers cards. I gave most of those away. I only have my display set. which is like one of each of the original 150 and some weird Japanese cards.

i'm considering getting rid of my pokemon cards too! i just have soo many of them (300+)! and i dont collect anymore so having them around is kinda useless, so i'll stalk this thread for more info.

...and i think i will get a bunch of yu gi oh cards to take their place since im very into yu gi oh now!

I sold all my pokemon cards on Craigslist a while back - I think around $50 for nearly 400 cards.  I gave the buyer my entire binder plus a metal tin of cards.  It took a bit to sell, and I didn't list every card on Craigslist, but I did get a lot of responses.    Good luck!
