omg I was laughing on every page, but the "I want to believe" poster made me cry. I was a hard core xfiles fan and seeing that purple sugarberry on the UFO...oh my gosh so much laughing and crying together! must find a way to keep that image in my life!

Stripperberry and Bonnie Bondage were priceless but Mouldberry stole my heart. I'd love to see someone make her into a custom!

Yup, it sure was.

I remember this incident but I don't think it was that funny, given the context.

What happened was, first a member posted a picture as a joke, a picture of a "variant" Sugarberry. Most people thought it was funny and joked back at her in a friendly way, in a *wink wink* way. Because they realized it wasn't a real pony but just a photoshopped picture or something. So far so good.
But then a group of people who had bullied her on an other board came to the thread and started ridiculing her and posting mean jokes just to spite her. It got way out of control so the moderators put an end to it.

Some of those pictures were funny, yes. But they (well some of them, the ones that have been mentioned here) were originally made in order to hurt and spite a member and that was *not* funny to see.

Granted, that member was later banned from the arena because she had trades going on where people didn't get their stuff and she didn't manage to clear that mess up.
But at the time of the sugarberry thread that hadn't happen yet. An in any case, I don't think it's right, what took place in that thread, people ganging up and jumping on someone like that.

tootie_tails you're right because I too remember the drama around the incident and what happened after. I still enjoyed all the pictures and ideas which came from it and in the light of remembering it, I think it's better to leave out the drama and just have fun with looking at the pics, don't you think?

I agree. I kind of got the gyst of what was going on and what people thought by the thread itself. I really didn't need it summarized by anyone, frankly, and I think it's in poor taste to dig up old graves like that. I can see the OP was banned, and frankly, I don't CARE what happened 6 years ago, whatever the drama. It's over and done with and it lead to something that is obviously an extremely fond memory for the people who lived it. I, for one, really enjoyed almost everyone's alternate Humorberries!

I always was morbidly curious about what exactly the "purple Sugarberry" incident was, so I was happy to see this today.

Hmm... I got that some people didn't appreciate the prank, but I didn't pick up on a general negative tone, or personal attack at all. Looks like people were just making goofy photos for the sheer hilarity of it all.

There was way more going on with the original poster and the context of the original post, than I think we should go into here. Lets just remember she was justifiably banned (and has since come back to try and repeat her misdeeds) and leave it at that.
