I posted in the other thread when she was mentioned and I ll say it again - the packaging actually emphasises the whole burlesque thing for me which is just plain creepy on a plastic kids animal toy. I would love to know how this line was pitched to TRU by Hasbro and also whether the whole board room were on some recreational drug at the time.

I ll happily say here and now...I think she is the worst pony Hasbro has ever released.

19. Missing the holes in her mane

How would you make holes in a brushable mane?

I kinda want her just because she looks so odd. Her and "black sun Celestia".

Man they totally gave up with the 'cutie mark is the button' thing with Crysalis. Just a black spot on her butt, that's good enough for her! lol

Okay not like she has a cutie mark to make a button out of, but they could have done something less tacky and obvious. A hidden button between her wings or something? Nah, let's just put a big bump on her butt.

It uses the same mold as the talking alicorns.  Repositioning the button would mean having to make new tooling and it wouldn't be worth it for such a low-volume toy, especially if it is priced the same as the talking alicorns.  Remember, making and designing the molds, dies, etc, used to make these toys are the most expensive part of manufacturing them.

Yep, it's just an alicorn pose that's black. She's odd, I kinda like her, I love that she has brushable hair.

Just a few things wrong with her...

1. Incorrect horn, she has a twisted jagged like horn
2. Chrysalis does not have holes on her horn
3. She has holes in her wings, this figure does not
4. She doesn't have normal pony ears, hers are curved
5. She doesn't have a pink diamond on her face
6. She doesn't wear necklaces
7. She doesn't wear barrettes
8. She doesn't wear lingerie
9. She doesn't have Princess Celestia's shoes that are her skin color
10. She doesn't have white and grey dots on her legs
11. She is missing her holes on her legs
12. She is suppose to be thinner than Princess Celestia
13. She is missing her fangs
14. Her eyes are suppose to be larger
15. She has a different head shape than Princess Celestia
16. She isn't suppose to have a bump sticking out of her side
17. She is missing her Crown
18. Her horn is suppose to be much larger
19. Missing the holes in her mane
20. Wings are the incorrect shape

These are just a few things I noticed, I think I'll wait for the Funko version, Hasbro fail, thanks but no thanks #suckstosuck I understand this is a kids toy, but this is so lazy seriously atleast get the wings, crown, horn, and body right.

I'm expecting a none accurate generic voice that says something lame like 'Don't you just love my socks!' ' I love socks!' 'Do you want to come sock shopping with me?'

If so let's hope they have opened a branch of Victoria Secrets in Ponyville, judging by her sock choice!

  These posts are too funny. I definitely agree. I feel like they are just trying to get away with too much on this release. I gave in and bought the Nightmare Moon for my daughter because that is her favorite character and at least it half way resembles her. This doesn't even come close......

I think that would be hilarious. I actually enjoy the silly lines of these toys. (Isn't it aaamaaaaaaziiiiiiing!?)

It's a good effort considering they used an existing mold. They seriously could not do justice to Chrysalis with this mold and it probably would have been too expensive to make a new mold for her. They should have just stuck the socks on Nightmare Moon instead.
