Hi,

I'm in my early thirties and I rediscovered my little ponies (G1) around Christmas on the internet by chance. Shortly after, I dug out my old childhood ones and then I started buying used ones. I'm only interested in G1 ponies as toys but I think Friendship Is Magic is a great tv show. I have come across the MLP Arena when looking up pony info, such as how to clean them, but I didn't join until now.

I hope ya' like it here! The Arena is a great place to find more G1 ponies to add to your collection, most of them being in pretty good condition. See you around the arena! :D - Jiggles :D

Welcome to the Arena!  I'm pleased you have re-discovered ponies and it's great you still have the ones from your childhood.  I'm in my 30's too as are a lot of the other members here :frolic:

Hiya! It's a great feeling to rediscover a childhood fav and High Flyer looks fabulous by the way! You're not alone in the '30's-something' club either!

Yes, I'll definitely have a look at the sales section. That's one of the reasons I joined. Oh, this is so addictive and not too expensive either - at least not yet.

Nice to meet you. All I did was clean her plus wash and curl her hair. I was careful with my toys when I was little and my ponies have just been sitting in the Show Stable, in its box, in a basement since I put them away some 20-25 years ago. Even so, they were dirty when I took them out and some had messy hair. The avatar photo is taken with a flash so she looks extra good there. :)  I'll include a before and after photo without flash. ...I'll include some photos of other ponies as well, I love these before and after photos. The MLP curlers I had from the Sweet Dreams outfit and Sprinkles and Duck Soup came in handy.
