I have brought a Crystal Empire Twilight Sparkle brushable a couple years ago, and I've been not brushing her all that much for a while. Up until now, of course.

Problem is what it has always been, those hideous streamers in her mane. You know, the ones that are supposed to be the 'crystal' effect and are pretty much unbrushable. I'm thinking about removing them altogether to make her easily brushable and more pretty altogether.

Problem is that I don't know how should I do it. Anyone experienced with toys could lend me a helping hoof?

Actually, no. It's from a doll maker I found. It was a good little tool for designing this ponysona and will make a nice avatar until I can draw well enough.

While I'm no collector, I have a Crystal Twilight Sparkle brushable. I'm more of an artist, researcher, and 'loremistress'... and seer to a varying degree. I came here to this site because (after a couple days lurking) this is what appeared to be the most fun, friendly and generally open-minded My Little Pony forum I've been since, well, discovering My Little Pony. It's nice to see at least one site where the previous generations are not considered as mere shooting targets and you can talk about them without being thrown into the grinder, so to speak.

My favourites are G1.5, early G3, and early G4, have hundred thousand words of fanfiction behind the latter one and planning that much for the others too. I'm also practicing to draw the different styles of said generations, with my G3 sketches being what I'd consider the best looking ones.
