Today was a big pony post day O.O, probably my last before I go back to uni on Sunday. First of all came the regular post, who brought me High Tide (upgrade) and her original box! from the lovely daffodil101, who wrapped it up so nicely. I fixed the cellophane and added in my shell, and now it looks like:

. I am completely obsessed with pony packaging so this was a super awesome buy for me (thank you daffodil
). It's my ambition to have packaging from at least one pony from each set, so this is one more ticked off.
Does anyone know for sure what comb, brush and ribbon High Tide had by the way? I've heard various different things from different sites and I believe y3 sea ponies had different comb and brush colours as opposed to matching? Here is her story
Wonder who the girl is o.O.
Then as I was washing up after lunch, Parcelforce came to call with a box of ponies from an ebay lot.
I bought it because I thought there was a variant princess pony in it (which there was). Actually I thought there were two, and there were...but while I thought they were the same...

loginTurns out they're not. One is the version I expected, with aqua tinsel in the mane and none in the tail. The other has very bold magenta tinsel in her tail and a smaller tail hole. Both have the same round symbol so they are definitely sisters...but I am pretty sure they are not identical twins.
I need to think of names for them now. Open to suggestions!
Also in the lot were two bushwoolies which I'm keeping, because I don't know who has which. There was a purple princess ribbon, which I think must belong to one of them but again, who knows which (as it was not in the hair of either when I got them out). I think it's the same ribbon my Sunbeam has MIB, so I'm going to leave it with the variant. I gave it to the one without tinsel in her tail, to balance up the odds. There was also a pale greenish comb in the lot - I think it officially belongs to Dawn but I am not sure as I have none of her accessories.

I really bought the lot for the variant princess(es), but when I was sorting out the rest of the lot...

loginI wasn't going to keep her. I really wasn't. But look at how pink that hair is O.o. She's my sister's favourite Windy Wing, so for that reason Naynie owns Flurry - and I was going to trade this one but she's just too pink O.o. So now I have a complete set of (Chinese) Windy Wing ponies of my own
Yay
I need to brush her and give her a bath still though. She really did not look as pink in the original photo so I'm very happy with her. I have a thing about pink hair not faded.
Then I came to Baby Mischief. I already have a small army of Baby Mischiefs, so I should have known what was going to happen next.

loginI looked at her and her hairline looked a bit odd...so I looked at her feet and she's the NC one. What I found interesting is that the year on her hoof looks like it says 1987 and not 1984. This is the first NC Starlight Baby I've seen in person, and only one of a handful I've seen ever, so I don't know whether that's a normal NC baby thing for this mould or not.

Here is a head on comparison with my regular normal UK bought one. I think she is paler than the one in the gallery so maybe there are variations between batches, but the NC one I have has her hair rooted further back and is definitely paler overall than my regular one.

There was also a very pretty Baby Night Song in the lot, who I am keeping for her beautiful pink hair, but sadly she's very dull. Made in China
Now I have a bunch of other ponies to wash and groom and find new homes for. And no time in which to do it
