Flea Market and Thrift Store Finds
« on: September 17, 2013, 03:52:35 PM »
Here are some things I've picked up over the last few months for some great deals. I've only just now gotten around to taking pictures so I could brag.

I got Baby Glory at the Flea Market for $1 and Windy at the Thrift Store for $0.50. They've both cleaned up nicely.

Windy does have this pink stuff in a couple of places and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I've tried nail polish remover, peroxide and adhesive remover. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Next, I got this girl at my favorite, and very reliable Thrift Shop for $2. She just happens to be my first G2.

I got these at the Flea Market. $3.50 each for the Dream Beauties and $2 for Celestia. I'm still in the process of fixing them up.

And finally, there's this group. Again from the same Thrift Store. Got the whole group for $12. Please excuse Sundance; she's getting her hair done. (Hmmm . . . I didn't notice that Island Delight didn't make it all the way into the photo.)

Can anybody help identify the flower pot and crown? And I'm thinking the comb is from the fakie in the previous picture. Also, Could I get some help with these red spots on Anchors Away? I've tried nail polish remover and peroxide.

The flower pot is definitely a G3 accessory! I got my flower pots with my Starswirl (In rain or shine garden time!)! Congrats on all your new cuties. (:

I know! And with the German packaging! It's a really good shop. I've found most of my good deals there. They're probably starting to recognize me, too, though nobody has said anything yet. They make it really easy. For some of their items, they have baskets devoted to that item. So, I pretty much just have to go look in the My Little Pony box, and then browse the shelves for the larger items. I also found a MIB G3 January Joy for $2 there.

There's a product called Graffiti Remover that the janitors at my school swear by.  I'd test it on a baity pony first (I haven't used it yet but have bought some) but you might give that a try.  Congrats on your great finds :)
