Hello everyone!
My name is Simone and I'm from Germany. My passport says I'm 33 years old, but I swear it was only yesterday that I was a little girl with a lot of My little Pony friends.
A few days ago I was surfing through the internet and hoping to find a Paradise Estate that would magically beam into my collection. That's the only MLP thing I am really looking for. Instead, I found your forum and it looked nice and friendly and I decided to stay here.
So that's me, saying hello!
I got my first MLP in 1986, Glitzi (Sparkler), and that's how the madness started. We spent a lot of family holidays in the Netherlands and Danmark and we always adopted one or more MLPs over there. In a German Forum I made a list with all my ponies, I try to translate it. There were nearly 80 MLP in my little room when the G1 era ended. I still have all of them, I could never ever sell them (didn't have much trouble with a lot of my Barbie stuff though), I even brought them from my parents' house to my own home, carefully cleaned them and said hello to all the little fellas. Yes, I still know them by name.

My Pretty PonyThe original Pony - I named her Blika after a pony in the book "Dick und Dalli und die Ponies" (which inspired the "Immenhof" movies, does anyone know them outside Germany?)
other stuffthe German "Ponymagazin" - from the first (1986) to the very last issue (1993)!
a complete Panini sticker book and one with some of the double found stickers
some goodies from several years as a member in the German "Pony-Mami-Club"
tons of merchandise
some tapes with MLP stories
the fabulous MLP movie - which my uncle had to tape for me back then because my parents did not have a VHS when it first aired on German TV - and what a drama that was!
Wow, all those names in English. I try to remember some of them as they actually sound fancier than their translations.
To finish this ton of information about me: I am not a collector, I don't want to buy more ponies as they all have a special history, like where and when I got them. But there are some small "adjustments" one can always make in a collection.
I can imagine to get some accessoires or toys for my ponies since they should make their way into a special display (they live in boxes again ...). And maybe I can finally make this one dream come true: My ponies have a lifelong right to stay here in paradise, they deserve (after all those years in the boxes!!!) their own estate!
Thanks for reading my not-so-short story and see you soon somewhere in Ponyland!
