My first Deflocking

(Hope this is the right board for this topic, if not let me know I’m kind of new, haha)
Buttons is one of my favorite MLP so I decided to take on my first deflocking project yesterday, and I wanted to show people the results! I used 100% acetone nail polish remover for the bulk of her, and 90% isopropyl alcohol for her painted areas (although that took a lot of work and I’m looking for other methods for those spots). I’ve read more tutorials and one thing I would do different is that I’d give her some kind of oxy clean bath beforehand.

She’s not perfect and has a small spot here and there, but I decided that when the weather gets better and I can go outside to ventilate I’ll go at her again with the stronger stuff. Overall though I’m pretty happy with the results!! Thanks for checking her out

I don't like deflocking as it is such hard work, but I do love how bright and colourful the ponies are underneath the fur

Wow, she looks fabulous!!! (And that discoloration on her coat is giving me comfort; I have some SS ponies with that kind of yellow staining, and it would be nice if it didn't penetrate through the flocking to stain the plastic!)
