OMG SEA POPPY, NO!!! This is a coup!! An undersea coup... I finally finished my entry! Here we go! (Also, I loved your previous themes, I remember entering Barnacle in the Big Brother contest! Maybe ... seaponies? Or baby ponies! There's TONS of them!)

"How shall my royal coronation be?
A marvelous sight, for all the kingdom to see!
The day would begin with my magnificent gown,
It would have thirty - no, forty! - petticoats, and my crown!

Not just one crown, but two, or even more!
With a long, floaty veil that drapes down to the floor!
The Ring of Ruling would glitter on my leg,
And my lashes would be thick enough to crack open an egg!!

I'd invite every member of society - rich to poor,
With representatives from every pony country, maybe even more!
A Hippogriff, a Seapony princess, Fairy-Tail Bird,
All gathered to hang on my every regal word!

The Royal Crowning Bird, with her owlish noble court,
Would quiet down the crowd as they prepare the sort
Of heady, serious oaths that one takes at a crowning -
But that's much too boring! Let's instead talk about my gowning!

Or even better, let's discuss my fussy courtiers,
Who, in their single-petticoated gowns, would cry fiercely jealous tears!
Perhaps they should have thought of a nicer way to be,
Instead of oh-so-jealous of my regal royalty!

Today the crowning, truly an event to talk about for years to come!
But perhaps tomorrow a king - a gorgeous prince to admire, not just some bum!
I'd return home at the end of the day, my legs rubbery and sore,
But happy, elated, joyful and glad! Not just a princess anymore!"

"That's lovely, Your Highness, and I appreciate your ideas very much;
But I only asked what Her Majesty might like to have for today's lunch!"

Majesty sat on her throne, weighing everyone's performance in her head. Every year, she judged the contestants for Queen of the Spring Festival on the beauty and health of their submitted flower arrangements, their success in challenges of assisting those in need and in solving riddles, their performance and sportsmareship in the sporting events they chose to partake of, and last but not least their attitude towards their fellows - Majesty was not in the habit of giving prizes to abrasive smegheads. It was a close race this year to be sure - everyone had put in a good effort, and no-one had been eliminated on grounds of rude behavior. At last, she came to her decision, standing up on her throne and calling for everyone's attention.
"I have chosen! The winner is... Rosedust! Queen of the Flutter Ponies, and now also Queen of the Spring Festival!"
The white unicorn stepped down from her throne, to make room. The winner was given the privilege of using the great seat for the remainder of the day, and Rosedust was met with cheers as she flitted over to claim that reward. Majesty smiled, and placed her own royal tiara on Rosedust's head. It was overlarge and sat loose against the pale yellow mare's ears, and yet it still looked quite well. Honeysuckle darted up to nuzzle Rosedust in congratulation, as all in attendance looked on.
I had wanted to do up the mini-pyramid where the Sun Stone sits in Flutter Valley so I could do a scene of Rosedust's original coronation there, but I wasn't able to get to it in time.

Snapdragonm, that is an awesome set-up and poem. Everyone's done an awesome job.

As for what I'd do.. Either Flutter Ponies, or pics featuring Megan and/or Molly. Throw in Sundance and Baby Sundance if necessary.

Ahh everyone has such lovely entries this round! I want to give a major shout out to Snapdragon though, I am impressed by how much of a grand party is captured in your picture!

As far as themes for upcoming photo contest ideas, fakie love might be a fun way to shake things up? I think all of us have at least one fakie we couldn't bring ourselves to get rid of. Seasonal themes are always fun imo too! I had so much fun with the bathing beauty contest a while back! A couples themed contest might be interesting too! No matter what I'll probably participate as long as time allows!

Ahh the Mr. Ponh Universe, one of my favorites. Babies is a good idea too...it will be Fall before I have time again. My job is crazy in n the summer and I hope I will have a different job by fall. I swear I have more job issues...but it's all learning:)

After her coronation, Moonstone went out for ice cream at Scoops' parlor with her advisor, friend, and trusted confidant, Cotton Candy. The two talked about the coronation, what was to come, and celebrated Moonstone's success

Everyone did such  great job on this! As for other themes, you could do certain colors of ponies, like yellow for a summer themed contest, or a fashion show, where the focus is pony wear
