It took me forever to get the Musician pony quest done , now on " waiting for Rairity to make sure she did her best "

is more likely i won't get Songbird Serenade with all these roadblocks the throw in there,they are making sure only who spends money gets the quests done,no way around it, well at least I want to get the next pony
I refuse to spend really money on games, so prepared to make it as far as i can with what i have .

Thankfully I restored the Tree of Harmony, so that gave me some extra gems and bits. I really want to come as far as I can while still trying to level up.

Same on my old account I defeated Tirek, had Shining Armour and a few other ponies. Went to play on it again and it went back to the fight against Tirek. I list Shining Armour and the other ponies.

The waiting times very much seem to be set in stone to end at the same time for everybody (except those who want to spend hundreds of gems to skip it), so I would imagine us free players will be able to get her.

I was lucky to get the stores done before the 2 following quests and it went fast on them, so no working on the next pony Ecstastic Danger
it will be a slow one again, the booster pony is too much , the musical notes will be coming slow.

Octavia  every 2.5 hrs , Violinist Pony every 3 hrs  ,and then is not for sure you get a musical note at the end, just finished the first run of the violinist pony and nothing

Hoo boy, I am so much slower than you guys! I JUST got violin pony on my main game (my ipad is always slower because I don't carry it with me everywhere!), and I didn't have to wait! Now I'm waiting 4 hours for Twilight Sparkle to distract someone. I like that the game allows for us slow players to catch up, but it seems a shame to hold EVERYONE back! So long as I get the pony at the end, I'm happy!

Oh, and does anyone remember the last update, the Crystal Empire? Remember how one of the last quests was 'win a candy cane from the balloon pop game and pick up 10 laughter shards'? Well I JUST FINISHED that quest. YESTERDAY. It took me THAT LONG to get the stupid candy cane!!! Months and months of that stupid balloon pop game!

There are more of those "win x item in balloon pop" quests?! The game was merciful enough to give me Fluttershy's flower bush a couple of weeks ago, and Twilight's magic shards today, but Rarity has been waiting a looooong time for her wedding presents.
